Summary
She set the phone on the table, airing their frustrations in the open as she swayed her body back to fall on a chair twice her size. She was starting to think that men of all species talk a lot, all she could do for entertainment was spin in circles as her feet flew in the air. The chair was comfy at least, made of black leather, glad that she successfully convinced him not to drag his entire throne in. It just wouldn’t look right, but mostly because he wouldn’t let her sit in it.
Her whole body shook when she came to an abrupt stop, her sight missing the detail of an oak door being slightly ajar.
“Darling…” A familiar voice whispered into her ear, his breath teasing her skin, amused at catching her in the act. “We’re not slacking off, are we?”

The second morning had been anything but uneventful. For one, the nightmares were much quieter although still prevalent. Second, he felt much better, almost suspiciously so. But Caitlyn and every other Enforcer, including the one that now kept guard in front of his door in case he went ballistic (by his own request) was adamant no one had entered or left the room the entire night.
