Summary
He can’t breathe suddenly, but Will doesn’t know if it’s from laughing or because his chest feels like it’s caving in on itself. “You are so stupid, and dumb and, and you don’t see anything about me anymore. You don’t know me, not really. How can somebody be so fucking blind? I just, I don’t get you,” Will tries to scream but the words come out in a whisper.
Mike is watching him with wide eyes, frozen still as Will breaks down before him. The thought alone makes Will break further, knowing that the Mike he used to know, his Mike, hasn’t existed in almost two years.
Because the old Mike, the one that Will could without a second thought say cared about Will, doesn’t exist anymore. The old Mike would never have let it get this bad, the old Mike wouldn’t be sitting there as Will breaks down, barely holding himself together to stop from crying so Mike doesn't see him as weak.

or the one where Will and Mike must face the damage they have done, Will tries to fix his broken friendship with his childhood best friend and pines disastrously after said boy who seems to not care about him anymore, Will writes a letter and walks to his death. But that's just Will's life, isn't it?

“I kissed Will.”
They all pause, turning to face him. Robin’s face drops as she groans loudly, Steve cheering over the top of her.
“Hand it over Buckley,” he demands with a grin. Eddie rolls his eyes at their antics and sinks further into the bed, still holding Steve’s arm while Robin grumbles and searches through her pockets.
She pulls out a five-dollar bill and slaps it into Steve’s open palm.

Summary
He had subconsciously ran to his safe place, the one place he knew he could escape to.
Except, Will had ruined it. He knows he did, and as much as he had regretted ruining his safe place, in the moment of anger and hurt, Will would have done it a thousand times over.
The ruins of Castle Byers was supposed to be what he was seeing, the damaged wood walls, the torn down sticks and branches and the old blankets and tarps should have been rotting.
But that is not what he is looking at, not even close.
Instead, someone has rebuilt Castle Byers to look almost identical to how it was originally made.

Or the one where Will comes out to his brother, Will and Mike share a bed, Will gets possessed and discovers something new about himself, again and somewhere in the middle of it all they fall in love.
