Grian, who is secretly said vigilante, has a crush on his co-worker Scar, the embodiment of sunshine. He also unfortunately does not return HotGuys feelings.
They don’t know about eachothers extracurricular activities but what happens when a great threat that could hurt thousands within Hermitopia pops up? They’ll need to work together and huh..

“I’m sorry, Grian,” Scar repeated. “Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?”
For a moment, Scar thought he saw Grian’s gaze dip again, but with distance between them, and the glare from a lamp on the other man’s glasses, he couldn’t be entirely sure. It made his heart squeeze all the same.
Grian straightened, huffing, “No.”
Scar hesitated. “Are you sure?”
“Positive,” Grian said. He leaned into the couch cushions, his countenance changing with the wave of a hand. His face relaxed, his legs crossed in front of him, and a wide smile split his lips. “You’ll pay for what you’ve done in due time.”

After a few weeks camped out at the funeral home, lost and unsure of the rest of their group’s fate after the Governor’s ruthless attack on the prison, Beth and Daryl find an unexpected comfort in each other.
A nauseatingly fluffy and filthy telling of what could have happened if Beth was never kidnapped by the Grady Memorial officers. About one part each fluff and plot to two parts smut for the first fifteen chapters, with more emphasis on fluff and plot later on.

Slowly, as if he’s scared that she’ll disappear as soon as he reaches her, as if she’ll shatter or break or die at his touch, Daryl reaches up to cup Beth’s face in his hands. She’s warm and sturdy under his palms. He traces the spots where, just yesterday, there were torn, jagged scars, bullet holes, blood, and bruises, but now there’s just Beth’s pale, porcelain skin, untouched and unharmed.
Daryl watches Beth die. Then, he wakes up in the funeral home on the morning of her kidnapping. He's destined to live this day over and over again until he can finally get it right.
