Naithan raised his eyebrows, lowering the tankard and sucking any beer remnants from his moustache. There was a commiserating gleam in his eye that seemed promising. "I've got two kid-siblings I met in a similar way– though, they’re teenagers themselves now."
Pausing with his own drink held halfway to his mouth, Mika narrowed his eyes, disbelieving. "You're shitting me."
"Honest truth!" The other man promised, raising a hand to the base of his throat. "I even wound up getting hurt both times, it’s hard to make that up."
Against his will, Mika felt his mouth twitch. "No fooling?”
Naithan touched his throat again, silently sincere.
Mika shook his head, amused. “I got robbed both times, no idea what made me keep the little thieves around– it’s not like they pull their weight."

Spider-man reached down and nudged the door with his finger tips, snatching his hand back with a grimace when the old hinges groaned almost comically loudly. It seemed to go on forever, as the door slowly swung open and whoever was inside fell silent.
And then the click of a gun’s safety echoed through the bathroom.
The sense of danger was like a shot of whiskey down his throat, silent alarms blaring through his skull and turning to ice behind his teeth.
“I am fucked six ways to Sunday, and not in the fun way, so unless you live here I suggest you go find someone else to rob.”
Deadpool. Of course.
Cautiously, aware that even as friends the merc could be unpredictable and certainly trigger happy when he was in the right mood, Spider-man peered down from over the top of the door frame.
Jesus christ.
OR: Deadpool needs a place to lick his wounds, and apparently he knows where Spider-Man lives.

Summary
ABO AU Where Dick’s Arkham renovations included getting inmates back to healthy dosages of suppressants and repressors (the latter before considering null-procedures or transitioning)*. This has the unintended side effect down the line of one Jason Todd never having his (blackmarket and home-brewed) suppressant pump reinstalled (with a medical grade one) after his transfer to, and subsequent escape from, Blackgate (which is outside of Gotham and thus Dick’s reforms). Careening face first into a heat he's put off for years, overwhelmed, and bested three times now by the new Batman, is it any surprise he finds himself impelled to the Manor?
OR
Jason's missing memories and long avoided Heat drive him out of his skull and into the abandoned Wayne Manor. It's a toss up who's more surprised, him or Dick, when Jason decides to make his nest in Dick's original bedroom and gives off all the signs of a mated omega experiencing bonding sickness in addition to a dangerous heat.
