Summary
The end of the world did not come fast like it always did in the Zombie Apocalypse movies that Yoichi Isagi watched on summer weekends with his school friends. It took ten years for humanity to catch up with the collapse, fighting against the fall of man with as much resistance the human spirit could muster; Something about a bio-weapon engineered by the United States military that breached the front-lines and spread rapidly among the population. Unable to contain the outbreak, it eventually made its way to the other continents—Asia coming second only after Europe. One by one, major cities succumbed under the pressure of an ill-managed quarantine that could not keep the mind-breaking disease from turning anyone affected into a flesh-consuming beast. It was Singapore, then Hong Kong, then Tokyo, and then the rest. The general populace lost any social structure while those belonging to the upper-class could hide in high tech bunkers and hoard their own resources beforehand.
Two unlikely companions find (and lose) something together as the world falls apart.

Summary
When Isagi accidentally sprains Kaiser's fingers, he can't practice, he can't play in the game, and he can't do his own fucking eyeliner. Isagi can help with exactly one of those things.

“Close your eyes,” Isagi murmurs, and Kaiser shuts his eyes obediently, the brush cold against his skin. A moment of silence, and then, “Sorry, angle’s a little off…,” and Isagi invades his senses even further. Kaiser feels a dip in the bed beside one of his thighs, Isagi’s knee knocking into him. The hand touching his chin skims down the side of his neck to settle on his shoulder, steadying himself.
He should really remind Isagi of the time with an antagonizing quip and get him to fuck off. But Isagi looks fucking angelic leaning over him like this, and Kaiser never liked doing things halfway.

It’s so much, Kaiser thinks. Everything feels as if it’s in hyper-focus, every sense amplified to the max. Kissing Isagi feels like metavision does, he thinks, and he wonders if Isagi feels the same.

“See, no one would be as forgiving as me. So, now why don’t you trust me already, Yoichi?”
One of his hands stroked Isagi’s side lightly. The touch was far too gentle for a fox like him, and it made Isagi tremble as an unknown tingling burned at the pit of his stomach.
“…What do you want from me?”
Kaiser’s warm breath caressed his temple. Isagi felt something being awakened inside him again. He ignored it.
“Can’t a fox help a rabbit just because he wants to?” Kaiser whispered. “And I’ve never meant to hurt you, Yoichi. Let me help you. I’ll be careful with you.”
One thing Isagi knows well is that he shouldn't trust a fox. A fox and a rabbit can't coexist, yet it takes him one misfortune for everything that he believes to change forever. (Fox!Kaiser x Rabbit!Isagi)
