“I have dibs on this table,” the man declares in a cheery tone. The glint in his eyes is less amiable. Back off, they say.
Tobio bristles. His body is suddenly on high alert, and he feels just a little of his tiredness alleviate to allow himself to square up and draw himself to his full height. Matching the other man’s determination, he glares down, feeling a fleeting sense of glee as he notes his height advantage.
“No,” he bites out.

Summary
