Chapter Text
Katsuki was sitting at a school library table with that half and half bastard sitting across from him.
Katsuki thought back at how he got into this situation.
Oh that's right. Aizawa assigned him a tutor because he has more important things to worry about than algebra. Katsuki suggested that Izuku be his tutor because he has already helped him before. That was something that Katsuki could settle for, because it would be like hanging out every day after school. But nooooooo. Aizawa said that would be too much of a distraction for him being tutored by somebody he is friends with and assigned him with half and half bastard.
Half and half bastard!
Almost anybody else would be better than this posh freak.
“So today, Bakugou-” half and half begins “-I would like to go over the questions you had trouble with on yesterday's test. That will give us somewhere to start from.”
Katsuki is leaning back in his chair with his feet on the table and his arms folded behind his head.
“It would be nice if you just pretended you care about getting your grade back up.” Todoroki says with his even tone of voice. “And you can start that by sitting properly in your seat.”
“You can't tell me how to fucking live my life, half and half.” Katsuki retorts with a glare.
“You're absolutely correct” Todoroki says without any shift in his voice or posture. “But right now with the situation at hand, it would be ill advised to go against Aizawa`s wishes of your student embetterment. You could get sent back to Class C, and I'm sure you wouldn't want to leave behind the friends you've made in Class A.”
That made Katsuki look at him dead in the eye.
Ugh. It would really suck being separated from Izuku and Kirishima…. They would never see each other. Not even at lunch.
Katsuki kicked his feet down and pushed his chair into the table and leaned his head on one hand with a pout.
Todoroki gives him a nod of approval and continues on.
The more he kisses Aizawa`s ass and aces the next few tests, the sooner he doesn't have to see half an half`s smug face after school every day.

Iida Tenya is the class president of Class A at UA.
He has always been the one that plans out events and helps with executive decisions in the classroom. But most of all, he is incharge of maintaining order amongst his peers. Right now, Fumikage Tokoyami is pushing his buttons.
He had already confiscated his wallet chains and spike bracelets. And he continuously tells him to cover up that distasteful raven tattoo that he shows off all the time.
It's no wonder that someone like him got villainized and made wreck to the city.
Right now Tokoyami is protesting Iida taking away his choker.
“There is nothing in the school dress code that says I can't wear this.” the short black haired boy states crossing his arms. “If a choker is such a big deal, then why don't you pester Bakugou about his?”
“Now the difference between Bakugou`s necklace is that it's small and not a distraction to the class. You on the other hand- that thing is practically a dog collar!” Iida exclaims pointing at the leather strapped around Tokoyami`s neck. “It's hardly appropriate for the classroom and I strongly recommend you hand it in now before I make this a matter to the principal.”
“You know.” the short goth begins. “People have to start wondering what you are doing with all of my jewelry you keep taking away. Chains, spikes, and now a collar? You can't tell me that doesn't leave anything to the imagination now does it.”
A few surrounding students start giggling. Iida flushes from embarrassment.
“Now listen here you-”
“You hear that! He's not even denying it.” Tokoyami sneers.
“For your information I hand the items into the vice principal!” Iida defends.
“Oh? You and the vice principal? That's really kinky.”
“Why you-” Iida writes out a yellow slip and slaps it on Tokoyami`s desk. “-You can go see the vice principal yourself!”
Tokoyami`s smirk falters. He takes the slip in his hand and storms out the classroom door.
Iida fixes his glasses with an irritated huff.
Hooligans such as Tokoyami pollute the pristine quality of learning that UA provides to the elite class such as himself.
He spots something from the corner of his eye. He turns around to see Kirishima and Denki have their desks pushed together and sitting far too close to together to merely be just platonic.
“And you two there! At least 6 inches of space between you two!” Iida says while slapping his hand on the desk, making both of them jump.
“We are helping each other study before class.” red headed Kirishima definds.
“No excuses! Keep you hands to yourself in the classroom!”
“But we are-” Denki begins, but Iida cuts him off with a glare.
The two shift their chairs aparts and look in opposite direction, clearly annoyed.
“What about Kouji and Hagakure though?” Pink haired girl Mina defends pointing to the two, them doing pretty much the exact same thing. “They are sitting close and studying. And besides, class has even started yet! So what's the big deal?!”
To be honest, Iida forgets they even exist sometimes.
“The big deal, Miss Ashido, is that they were displaying inappropriate advances.”
“More inappropriate than Mineta`s goal to grab all of the girl`s boobs in class?!”
“Now that is a completely different discussion Miss Ashido-”
“No! I don't think it is. He is never properly punished for it because you think ‘well at least it's better than having these homos here hugging’. That's what it is isn't it?!”
The majority of the class is staring daggers at Iida now.
Iida adjusts his glasses.
“Miss Ashido, if you have a problem with the way I decide to maintain order in the classroom, then I suggest you take it up with Aizawa Sensei, or even the Principal. For the time being, I will do what I have to do to keep UA a pristine school.”
“You just abuse your power! You don't-”
“Fine! I will! Don't know why anybody hasn't done so yet.” she storms away back to her seat.
The thing is, people do all the time. But the school always sides with Iida in the end.
It was lunch time, and Iida sat alone at the lunch table as usual. Thus the hardship of being on top. He usually uses this time for extra studying anyways.
“H-Hi.” A voice says catching his attention.
Iida peers up from his book.
“Mr. Midoriya.” he says closing the book. “What can I do for you today?”
“I- I was just wondering if i-it was okay to s-sit here. All of my friends aren't at lunch a-a-nd there arent alot of tables after w-what happened. S-so…”
Iida hold a hand up cutting him off.
“Say no more Mr. Midoriya. You are a diligent hard working student in Class A. I will permit you to sit here.”
“T-Thank you!”
He takes a seat opposite to him.
Iida gazes back down at his book, but occasionally peers up to see the boy eating and reading a magazine.
It may not be studying, but it he isn't disrupting anybody.
The minutes tick by, and the silence between them is rather welcoming. It is a silence that isn't at all uncomfortable or met with untrusting glares. Iida is not used to that.
….maybe he could make a friend?
“So.” Iida begins. Midoriya looks up from his magazine with curious eyes. “What are you reading there?”
“O-Oh. um. Just some superhero stuff.”
“Ah. why yes of course you are. It is good to know that we have such promising young men on the side of the people in such troubling times.”
“E-exactly!”
“It is rather inspiring. It goes to show you that even at our age, we can make a big difference in the world… like my brother for instance. He isn't much older than us, but he is currently overseas serving in the military.”
“You're brother must be really cool then.” Midoriya says with a smile.
“...he really is. I want nothing more than to be just like him someday. Maybe not in the military like him, but out in the world making a difference.”
Iida doesn't know why he is opening up to a classmate he has never really talked to much before. He is just so easy to talk to.
“Anyways, enough about that. How are things going between you and Miss Ochako?”
“Things going? We are best friends, so great I g-guess.”
“It is good to hear that best friends can also function as a couple. Quite romantic indeed.”
“Ochako-chan and I aren't dating.” Midoriya says with a chuckle.
“Oh? Forgive me for assuming. You two just seem so close.”
“She has her eyes set on someone else. And s-so do I.”
“I see. Well whoever that girl may be is one lucky one. Have you planned on asking her out to the Homecoming dance?”
“Heeeeeey Izuku-kun.” a new voice chimes into their conversation.
“H-hey Ochako-chan.”
The brown haired girl smiled at Iida and places her lunch tray down next to Midoriya.
“Its ok if I sit here with you two, right?”
“I-If it`s okay with the President.”
“Please Midoriya, call me Iida.”
Ochako beams and takes her seat at the table. Iida is quick to notice their silent exchange.
“Iida-san and I were just talking about Homecoming.”
“Oh yeah? Who are you bringing to Homecoming, Iida-san?”
“I haven't had the time to consider that.” he says bringing a hand to his chin. “I`ve been too caught up in the responsibilities that come with being Class President for it to come to my attention.”
“I see.” Ochako says with a smile.
Ochako and Izuku echange another glance at one another.
Another person approaches the table.
“H-hey Midoriya.” Kirishima says rubbing his hand on the back of his neck. “You said I could borrow those notes?”
Midoriya scratches his cheek.
“A-ah it must of slipped my mind.” he stands up from the table. “We can go do that now. I'll see you back at class, Ochako-chan.”
Iida watches the green haired boy scurry their way out of the cafeteria.
“So. About Homecoming.” Ochako says.

“Thanks again for helping out with that, Kirishima.” Izuku says as they make their way down the hallway.
“Anytime man. I don't know what that girl sees in him, but anything to help out a friend.”
“You're a good man, Kirishima.”
They make it back to the classroom and talk about video games and such. Ochako trails in with the rest of the class when the bell rings.
“So, how did the plan work out?” Izuku whispers over to his brunette friend.
A light blush forms on her face as she watches Iida take his seat up front. She nods with a thumbs up.
Izuku took it that Iida said yes to being Ochako`s Homecoming date.
Azawa trudges back into the room with his 5th cup of coffee of the day in his clutch. Kachaan is the last to enter the room, following close behind Todoroki (Izuku knew that Kachaan wanted to get some of their tutoring sessions out of the way during lunch on the days he had work after school). He flushes red when Kachaan nods him a ‘hello’ in his direction and takes his seat in front of Izuku.
So Ochako scribbles something on a piece of paper and places it on Izuku`s desk.
‘Next is your turn.’

Iida Tenya was in a good mood.
A pretty girl who gets good grades in class had just asked him out to the Homecoming dance. Little to nothing could ruin his mood right now.
He makes it home back to his mansion house. “Mother! Father! I'm back-”
He is cut off at the sight of his parents solemn expression. Both of their eyes are tearstained when they look at him.
“Iida. We have something to tell you.”
…
His brother.
His kind and honorable brother, had been paralyzed.
He was shot at his waist, making him lose his ability to walk forever. He was coming home in a few days.
No. no this can't be happening. Not his brother. Not his hard working loving brother. This can't be happening.
But it was.
He needed air.
Iida walked through the city trying to process what he was just told. His brother was coming home not as a hero, but as a fallen soldier. It wasn't fair.
It wasn't fair.
He hated that someone did this to him. He hated that they got away with it. He hated it all.
He found himself wonder to the park that he and his brother would go to all the time when they were kids.
Tears well up in his eyes at the now bittersweet memories they share at this place. He fell to his knees in front of the tree they carved their names into.
He doesn't notice the footsteps that approach him.
“Your brave and nobel brother was ruined by some nobody on the battlefield.”
‘It's not fair.’
“Now he has to carry out the rest of his days as a cripple because of it.”
‘It's not right.’
“It`s not fair to you or him. Nothing is fair.”
A hand grabs his face from behind.
