Summary
While Pepa and Agustín had secretly wished for Maria's erratic behavior to stop, it's all the more terrifying and confusing when it actually does stop without even a warning. While Maria is suddenly lethargic and nauseous, they're worried that her behavior has caught up with her and that her body can't handle it anymore.
When they finally find out about what should have been obvious from the very beginning, it's all the more terrifying for the two as they try to navigate the chaos in the aftermath of the new revelations, especially with the added chaos of old family drama and hidden resentments from people they'd least expect it from at the very same time.
1944 is going to be a long year for everyone.
