I never saw this show, but reading this story makes me wish that I did as it would help me know just what his crusade was!
I love the writing and will enjoy this story a lot in future readings.
The story is a lonely, emotionally damaged young man (Luke) was befriended by an older lady librarian.
One day a young librarian (Clara) takes her place and Luke wants to know where the other one went.
Between them they find enough unanswered questions about the lady's disappearance that they go to Scotland Yard, and Inspector Hastings, for help.
Along the way, these 2 damaged people find that they are stronger than what they thought and even stronger with each other.
They heal each other emotionally, mentally and in Luke's case, physically and find a love that is true.
Happiness abounds for them when just 3 months after the trial they are married and awaiting the birth of their first child.
I wonder if inspector Hastings at the Yard was invited?! -

Hey neighbor, welcome to the house! I heard you knocking things around, yesterday, and I think you maybe punched a wall? Anyway, the landlady gets pissy if you put holes in the wall, but I have a punching bag! You can come over and use it, or I can move it into the hall, if you want!
There’s only one other bedroom on the fourth floor. Now, Bakugou crosses the hall to the bedroom on the right side, slamming the post-it note against the door.
Fuck off and die, it reads.
Bakugou Katsuki is not going to jeopardize his future a second time, and that means staying away from anyone who gets too close. Kirishima Eijirou has never learned how not to be close to someone. Of course, they end up as next-door neighbors.
