Metropolis was the sight of three battles, but there were five other heroes present, and Barry was alone. Clark tapped out of his fight, ensuring Diana stepped into his place, and flew toward Central City to assist the Flash.
He realized shortly after he got there that they'd been set up — that he specifically was being targeted.
