“I’d love to try them Jinx,” Vi said from her place on the couch. Caitlyn laid passed out on Vi’s front, arms wrapped tightly, head resting against the crook of her neck, drooling slightly. A fact that Vi would love to remind her of when she awoke from her slumber. Caits hair was nestled against Vi’s mouth, as she scratched her wife’s head.
“You’d have to bring them over to me though, for obvious,” pointing to her front.
“Bleh, I can see that.” Jinx scrunched her face, “Maybe I’ll leave them just out of reach. Then you gotta decide between her and the cookies.”
Vi glared at her.
“I’m kidding – maybe.”
“Hey, could you grab a blanket while your up – “

Caitlyn sets her backpack down next to the empty seat, trying to focus on Jayce rather than Vi even when she feels Vi’s eyes on her. “It was a last second decision,” Caitlyn tells him. “My journalism class was removed because of my free period, so I had to replace the free period with a different class. This was my alternate.”
Vi snorts. “AP Stats to replace a free period? That’s fun.”
Caitlyn turns to the side, about to say, I know, right? when she’s put into another state of shock—this time by Vi’s face.

Until Vi has a rare day off and decides to spend the rest of her day giving her girlfriend a gun show, making Caitlyn the happiest woman alive.
All was good and well. Her Saturday date plan was completely flawless. or it would be, if her girlfriend didn't have a completely different idea of guns.

Vi's eyes land on her new boss, Detective Inspector Caitlyn Kiramman, tugging at the neck of her turtleneck jumper as she slowly boils alive inside it. She was sent in about a week ago from the MET in Piltover, and she’s about the least suited person Vi can possibly imagine for working on a tropical island. As far as Vi can work out, Inspector Kiramman seemingly hates the sun, sand, insects, heat, and anything that would fall under the twin umbrellas of ‘loosening up’ or ‘having some fun’. She’s also mentioned enough times to warrant being hit that she can’t get a good cup of tea around here, and that she misses the ‘predictably miserable weather’ of Piltover.
All in all, Vi hates the Detective Inspector, and the fact that she’s the hottest woman Vi’s ever met really doesn’t help.

It doesn't matter though, because she's made it thus far just fine. But what was that saying about deserving more than just surviving? Hmm, perhaps pink hair and a persistent grin can persuade her to shift perspective.
