This is a COMPLETED fanfiction that aligns with the events from the game Sally Face. We follow my OC Cassidy Price in his adventures with Sally and friends. Most ideas are my own other than a few things inspired by Life is Strange games and Lost Records (Which I have not actually played or seen, I just heard of the abyss and made my own idea around it but no spoilers for the game or my story!)
Warning that this story includes depictions of Bipolar and ASD, the time period not being understanding of mental health, dementia, neglect, main character death and family death, ghosts/demons, cult themes, and spoilers for the game sally face!Also Check out my sequel type story when it comes out for the same oc and Sally! Travis Phelps wanted to die.
Sitting on a locker room floor, his back pressed up against the uncomfortable metal, some pieces jabbing into his back; as he sobs like nobody else is in the world to hear. He wipes his face over and over again, with any dry surface he has on his itchy sweater sleeves- but the tears keep coming.
Travis doesn’t know how he got here, or when he is gonna leave- but he hopes never. He wants to be alone, on this cold tiled floor, until he dies of old age.

Ashley has always thought of herself as a gallery piece, but never one people admire, the one people stare at, try to figure the meaning of out, but there was never a meaning to her painting, maybe shes a doodle on the side of some kids textbook? theres a line of expressionless faces staring at her, but maybe no ones really there? but she sees them, so they have to be there. theyre there. theyre staring at her, and they make her sad. because she isnt doing anything important to be stared at.
The doctor says shes ill, shes not, shes not psychotic, she doesnt have psychosis, she doesnt need these meds. theyre there, there are solid faces there, she isnt here, theyre there. she is not there, but they are. she doesnt need those meds.

Summary
No one ever expected the zombie apocalypse to actually happen. No ever expected to be fighting for their lives every single day. But here our heroes are, eight years after the apocalypse. Just trying to cling to any source of normalcy.
Living a normal life is hard when you're kind of the leader of one of the biggest zombie killing gangs this side of the country. Sal Fisher would much rather be living a domestic life with the people he loves, but instead they're working together and taking down the zombie population the best they can.
So, this wasn’t the future they wanted, but it was what they got. And right now? After years of struggle, things weren’t that bad.
