Gem throws an arm around Pearl’s shoulders. “Your task is no longer important.” She takes her secret book out of her inventory and tries to balance it on Pearl’s head, only to be thwarted by her antennae. “Please take this in. And then give it back to me after you’ve read three pages.”
Pearl pokes Gem’s antler in return. “Y’know what, that’s fine. I was failing at it anyway.” The universe can wait to hear her problems some other time. “Wait, three pages? Why’s everything got to be three pages these days?”
“I’m sorry,” Gem giggles again. (Curse that darn laughter. Pearl went too long without hearing it before, and now that it’s back, it’s doing its same old excellent job at putting her at ease. Pearl can’t resist it.) “It had to be very specific.”
So Pearl takes the book, and she reads it. And then she slams it shut and stares at Gem with something between exasperation and stunned shock.
or: Gem leads a boogeyman army, and for once, everything on the Secret Life server is completely normal and fine. Completely.

Summary
That’s the thing about a domain. A deity will always be connected to what they represent. For some, it was an aura, a spreading feeling all around them, reminiscent of an old memory that was long lost to the void. Some are personifications of their domains, whether by body or mind. And some just had Knowledge of what they were, as if their mind held the answers from the future, present and past. Scott was one of these gods. While some of his friends jokingly called him a good luck charm, he really didn’t strongly affect people around him - not nearly like some of the other gods. His major ability as a god was to know the result of any and all games, small or big.
His domain was of the winners and champions, of games and competitions, of teams, strategies and adrenaline. And what he could know was the victors.or
Scott knows who will win each game. He tries to make sure it works out the best for everyone.

Some of the destruction is hers. She doesn’t want to know how much.
She blinks, breathes, and takes a step forward. Worldwalkers know how to navigate dreams, and Gem is no exception. She has endless control over the world inside her mind. She can make maps of every construction and wake herself up from the worst nightmares. It would take a true horror to keep her captive. Still, though, her dreamscapes are usually complicated. This is just… sculk. So much sculk. Gem can’t help but feel a sense of morbid curiosity about it.

He felt awful. Or maybe not, at least, not completely awful.
Etho actually found it somewhat exhilarating. He always enjoyed the chase in these games, even if it was him being chased. Though getting smacked upside the head by an enderman and then being chased down by several players was not all too pleasant.
AKA: hey, it’s me. Back at it again with some red life/boogey curse obsession. I enjoyed exploring what being red means and how that feels for double life so I decided to do another for the Boogey Apocalypse (this time with a slight hive mind twist).
