He walked up to the statue. The center of it had a symbol that he never quite understood the meaning of. He didn’t care anymore. Scar assumed he would just be shot out of this game, just like all the other winners.
He submitted his task and felt his body recover from his fight with Pearl. He closed his eyes, waiting for him to be taken to whatever place.
But nothing happened.
Or Scar is stuck in Secret Life, and the watchers are holding him captive to keep Grian in check. There is a lot of Psychological Torture along the way, please read with caution

He was so hungry. Etho had been keeping pace with the house on wheels ever since Gem had joined up with them…for some reason. Etho wasn’t exactly clear on why, he didn’t have the brain power for processing that right now. His head felt fuzzy and light, his stomach pangs were getting worse by the day, and exhaustion and cold were pressing into his bones. His ears pressed back at the littlest noises, his fur was gray and matted instead of pure snowy white, and these clothes weren't meant for long days out in the deepening winter cold.
He knew he wasn’t going to succeed. He wasn’t going to win this fight, there was no combination of things he could possibly do that would result in him somehow managing to kill Gem. Yet he had no choice but to persist, because whenever he let his mind falter, it just hurt even worse.
Not like he’d stopped hurting at any point for weeks now.
{In which Etho faces the end, Gem grabs a new beginning, Mumbo is anxious about literally everything at this point, Scar is just baking coping cookies, and Pearl and Grian are trying to sibling with relatively positive results.}

Katherine was a young girl living a small village within a fairly large spruce forest. She was born with sensitive cat ears for some odd reason, no one minded them but loud noises hurt her ears. Katherine was the daughter of a village shepherd, until Katherine started taking over the chore and her dad was left to simply shear the sheep and tailor clothing for the other villagers. Katherine‘s mom was also the village cleric, making potions for various uses, but mainly healing, occasionally weakness potions in case someone needed to cure a zombified villager but always for healing purposes. There was also a strawberry blond cat named Muffin that Katherine took in when it was stranded in the rain when Muffin was a kitten.
