Carlos frowned, making his way back to the window. He took a second look, but there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Nor was there any snow on the ground. Even if the grass and trees looked oddly…compressed. “Doesn’t there have to be snow for that?”
Cecil sighed heavily into the phone. “Carlos, sometimes I worry about you. The snow is invisible.”
