In the present in the world of trolls, the Rock tribe under King Thrash have been raging a long grueling war to unite the tribes under their banner.
But years before the war between the tribes ignited, before King Thrash took the throne their was another troll who ruled.
Queen Hell, his mother, the rock tribe's warrior queen and the one that paved the path forward for the war that would lead to the death and destruction of many trolls.
Queen Hell was revered to be many things.
A Queen, a warrior, a mother, and a monster.
History paints her in one way or another but her life says much more of who she was.
So who was she really?

Originally this was supposed to be posted as a complete story but I'm impulsive. Chapters will be shorter than my BC fic and this whole story has a lot of background lore and context for the current war conflict before it started. Zoey had suggested they go stock up on snacks and pile onto their couch, settling into the lull of movie marathons, take out, and spending time together on their hobbies. They tracked droplets into the entryway of their penthouse, shaking off coats and dropping wet plastic bags on the rug.
Mira only wanted to help, to offer a gentle gesture of affection. Something to ease the tension between them.
She gently grabbed the shoulders of Rumi's coat, attempting to shed it and hang it up for her.
Mira felt her heart shatter when Rumi recoiled away gasping, clinging to her coat. Her chest heaved and pushed out shallow breathes. Mira drew back her own hands as if she had burned Rumi by touching her. Zoey came slowly to Rumi's side.
