Dean and Sam Winchester are a special kind of Cowboys. They are hired for those sorts of jobs every rancher in the West knows need to be done, but never will admit out loud to everyday folk. To save their livestock, hired hands, and families, there's only one type of Cowboy worth hiring. The ones who can track, trap, and kill the supernatural creatures that lurk about the night and secluded trails throughout the forested, mountain range or orange crested deserts surrounding their properties.
But this is looking like the last job Dean Winchester ever will do after he’s given one year to live due to a tuberculosis diagnosis. He’s determined to work this last drive and continue hunting before his time’s up.
His brother, Sam, is devastated. Having done everything he can to get Dean to head South, and shove every medicine he could get his hands on at Dean, but nothing had worked. Thus he gives his brother his dying wish; one more drive, one more hunt.
But as always these jobs never go as planned. This one goes even further sideways when the brothers find a wounded man, who seemingly dropped out of the sky. A man with dark hair, the bluest eyes Dean had ever seen, and more secrets than either brother can excuse.
