J, the human, has organized a evening party (for humans) alongside her siblings (also human, also not biological siblings) hosted at the manor owned by Tessa the Human. Uzi, Doll, and Lizzy are among the human guests. Cyn isn't at the soiree; she's in the basement doing whatever creepy stuff she gets into down there. V and Tessa are puzzled by her absence, J is somehow simultaneously relieved and annoyed by it, and N is saddened enough to go fetch the ball of sunshine (who never actually sees the Sun). He should not have done that. She was counting on it. Cyn was planning on coming to the party anyway, when everything was in place. N comes back, changed. There is only one thing he wants to do. And six people he wants to do it with. They'd rather not, at least not like this. But Cyn loves N, N loves doing anything, and the girls will love N, no matter how long it takes. (Not very long. Giggle).

Uzi thought everything would be fixed once she killed Cyn, that everything would go back to normal. She had no idea how messed up her “normal” was until it was pointed out.
N thought everything would be okay, he has Uzi and V by his side and Cyn is gone and can’t hurt them anymore, but V’s often times missing from the Outpost, he misses Cyn more then he thought, and the exhaustion in his systems it getting harder to hide.
Thad thought everything would be better, once he helped ‘Zi and N-and-M's take down the evil villain, that’s how it went in movies after all! But he’s faced with deaths and pain, and it’s all he can do to keep together these depending on him.
Lizzy thought everything would be fine after the stupid planet put itself back together, she could go back to her usual life and all that, but faced with Doll’s death and new injuries both mental and physical, it’s all she can do to avoid crumbling.
It’s easy to tell someone to heal, it’s harder to L E A R N how to Heal.
So please…….. teach me how to heal.

Tired, confused and frankly very pissed off, the Solver has decided to be more involved.

JCJenson has been known to do pretty weird and sorta unethical things to autonomous beings under their care, i.e. the worker drones they so prided themselves in. One technician one night had too much liquor, and read some harpy novels. Inspired, and in his drunken stupor, he added codding that would allow some... mutations in the worker drones. This created a whole bunch of new supply and demand, as the new avian drones were as diverse as the birds of earth used to be. This supply and demand profited JCJenson, and now, after the core collapse of Copper 9, these drones still carry their avian traits, and have become even more diverse in their plumages due to cross breeding.

N wasn't the type to believe in cryptids or supernatural folklore, especially the idea of "murder drones" which just seems to be a modern mechanical twist on stories of old. The idea of worker drones, with all their tracking technology just suddenly disappearing without a trace at the fault of an undetected race of robots living in the woods seems out of the question!
N was so, so wrong...
