Summary
In a world of marauding kings, the Pendragon empire is one of the strongest. With the use of a rumenthrall named Merlin, they are slowly, but surely, conquering the entirety of Albion.
Arthur Pendragon, heir to the throne, despises the dynasty and society he was born into, one that enslaves those with magical ability and values power over morality. However, despite his best efforts, he is powerless to stop his father, especially when it comes to Merlin.
One day, however, Uther will die and Arthur will be king. And Merlin and Arthur have plans.

Summary
Merlin adores being a doctor, more than he ever thought would be possible. He does. It’s fulfilling. It’s amazing.
The problem he never saw coming is that people at the club get reckless when he’s on duty. For some reason, knowing that there’s a bona fide medical doctor stalking the halls means that people think that this is their best chance to go nuts. Merlin likes that they feel safe enough under his watch to test their boundaries, but there’s also a part of him that hates it. He’s here to get away from work, not to have more of it, goddamnit.
---
He peers up at Lance standing over him, his own dungeon monitor badge pinned to his satiny shirt.
“Hey, Merlin,” Lance says, with an easy smile that just barely hides the tension underneath. “Could I talk to you about something for a minute?”

Summary
“A rock?” Arthur stared skeptically at the map laid out in front of him.
“Yes, sire… well, a stone.” The stableboy nodded nervously, glancing at the King before adding, “That is what they was saying. A stone that can’t be tricked nor fooled, one that can detect even the smallest bit of magic in a person.”
* * * * * * * * * *
Or I really liked the idea of a stone that identifies magic and how strong it is from 'A Warlock's Wish' by vividpast and couldn't stop thinking about it.

Summary
Mordred seriously wonders what he did in a previous life to deserve his current one. Not that his life is miserable, but it’s not ideal. A great example is how he’s begging his teacher to write him a college recommendation letter instead of the polite asking and them saying sure. No, Mr. Wyllt said “convince me."

Summary
Red, golden, brown leaves begin drifting from wizen trees when Merlin has his first kiss.
He’d thought — hoped that it would happen the way it does in the flicks, even though he’s the best friend of the biggest cynic in school and probably the town. He’d wanted it to be romantic, with him holding hands with his crush, the two of them having just confessed to harbouring feelings far beyond their comprehension for each other.
Merlin is fifteen when autumn flakes the trees in a slow dance and the older boy who’s hated him for years and years slams him into a wall and kisses him.

Merlyn had believed the Great Dragon when he told her that it was her destiny to protect Arthur Pendragon.
She had believed him when he said they were two halves of one whole, that they couldn't be separated.
She had believed him when he told her that they shared a great and splendid destiny together, the golden age.
But how could she believe him, now that he was telling her that she should let a child die for words spoken in fear?
How could she believe him?
Merlyn had to choose: betray the fate they predicted for her and Arthur, or betray herself?
