It all begins with a research trip to the ruins of Avernus Cathedral, where a Rahabim scholar by the name of Sultana finds an artifact that sends her to Santa Monica Pier, 2003. Cut off from her homeland, she must learn to navigate the Masquerade and its rules, and choose a side in the brewing conflict between the various factions fighting for control of LA. But while Nosgoth may be gone, its survivors have not forgotten, and may also find their way to Los Angeles.

Almost on it's own volition, my hand was raised to her forehead, brushing away the unruly golden locks and gently tucking them behind her ear. When my eyes returned to meet her's, I was faced with an unbelievable magnetism. Was this some sort of kindred discipline? Had my unalive heart began beating again?

“What the fuck happened to you, Cammy?” She blurts out and at the same time Jack lets out shocked laughter as he looks her up and down.
“Oh yeah, sorry I’m late I guess.” She responds easily enough but it takes some effort not to slur her words together as she talks.”
Or, Lenora has been on a goose chase for the last few days trying to find the sarcophagus and misses her check in with the anarchs. They are more worried about the fact that she’s bleeding out rather than her missing a meeting.
