Summary
Why was he even here? He wasnt academically gifted in any sense of the word, and yet, Mollymauk Tealeaf had his application accepted. To be the assistant to the top Professor of the Academy no less. He just hoped that he could fulfil the duties that would be required of him. If in doubt, Mollymauk knew that he had the gift of the gab, and could just pretend to know more than he actually did. It worked usually, especially around stuffy old academics that would visit him late at night.
So why was he so nervous to mess up?

Summary
Seth Domade had many good qualities. He was human and, as such, could traverse Rexxentrum with ease. He had some unremarkable magical capabilities, so it was not odd that he might, say, use Comprehend Languages to read a book or cast Prestidigitation to clean the muck from his boots.
Seth Domade, however, was not a powerful wizard. He did not wield spells that could disrupt the gravity of an entire street or send his attackers flying into a wall. Seth Domade was a quiet, unassuming man. He spent most of his days editing volumes in the Cobalt Soul’s library, and he looked the part.
Around the time the silence manacles clapped around his wrists, Essek realized he should have dropped the facade of Seth Domade earlier.(Updates ~2x per week until done, detailed warnings on first chapter)

He thinks maybe it should make him more frightened, that he should worry about the liabilities he has allowed these people to become. It does nothing to temper the joy of being trusted, of being someone worthy of friend. Summary
An envisioning of the ever-popular journey Caleb and Essek take to the T-Dock, exploring why Caleb chose Essek to join him, the internal struggle that would have taken place leading up to Caleb’s final decision, and the slow process of healing through a developing relationship.
---
At the narrow desk before him, at the centre of the room, sat Essek, straight backed and hands steepled, his form swallowed by the heaps of books and maps about him. His eyes were dark, rimmed with rings of exhaustion, his appearance unusually messy, the traces of finger tracks still visible through his hair.
"Hey," Caleb attempted to sound casual. //You sound like a dunce.//

“Jester’s here. The wedding is off. I had a dress and this huge prank planned for Fjord, and now nobody will see either one!”
The Sending blasts through the ordered calm of Caleb’s thoughts. Veth. Her shrill delivery is flippant. The message itself is a fluffernutter: an unmitigated bombshell.

Summary
In the handful of months that have gone of Essek's first semester at Tidepeak University he's managed to create quite the reputation for himself. His perfect score at the entrance exam already offering some aid in that, plus the perk of rooming by himself in the dorms.
That is until a human man by the name Caleb Widogast seems intent to slot himself into his otherwise mostly solitary world. If not for his intelligence and talent Essek would have outright refused- or is it perhaps the warmth, openness and complexity that makes him want to keep Caleb around?

They have spoken through this before. Essek can brave doing so again.
He shudders in a breath and presents this jagged sliver of his heart.
“I care for you, Caleb Widogast. I would like to.”
Coasting over tender bruise and threading the last of a tremble through downsoft hair, Essek shields the back of Caleb’s neck.
“I’m unconvinced I can bear it all.”

Summary
"It started innocently enough… at least that is what Caleb told himself.
The same question was asked every summer at the Wildmount Wildlings: “When are we ever actually going to use this?” Usually this question was posed during theory, but this year it was during the practicals. The hot and stuffy summer air had made some of the kids more irritable than others, and wizards were not known for their love of the outdoors. However, it wasn’t just any practical that bore this question, but immovable object, a spell with many applicable uses. To the dismay of all the children, Caleb stopped the lesson to list a few. It might have been dry, even boring perhaps after the spell casting, and the sun did not stop beating down, but creative thinking might save them in a pinch.
It started innocently enough. Caleb had no ulterior motives when he mentioned it to Essek a week later. "One summer, Caleb mentioned students having difficulty with the practical applications of immovable object. Essek knew a particular use that should not be discussed in mixed company. A private lesson in Graviturgy occurred, and a private lesson followed.

Summary
When I want to write some spicy wizard sex scenes unrelated to the main story, I'll post them here. Maybe they'll have plot, maybe they won't, I don't know. Tags will be in chapter summaries/chapter notes. I'll try to include where in the timeline each entry occurs if there's a specific place/reference chapter.
*The 'Caleb Widogast has PTSD' tag has been included because Caleb has issues with sexual intimacy and vulnerability and I want it there as a explanation/warning for those that are just looking for some smut and don't know the series. <3 I don't anticipate that Caleb will have any prominent symptoms, it's mostly just there to explain some of the dynamic, but if I write something where he does I will add a TW.Series

An innocent enough question, Essek thought, and a necessary one at that.
