    Summary

She did not have the same curl of hot desire which threaded its way through his own love, but it was open, expansive, generous. Their love was a warm hearth fire on a cold night, a refuge, something to build with. He was not surprised, now, that she had only spoken of their love, and not her own; for her love was an action, a building together of a life. It did not make sense for her to speak of her own love, when for her love was collaborative rather than singular. Solas was beginning to see what she might desire in games of sensation, continually at odds with her physical body and desirous of something she could control, when she felt too much, or perhaps something to create a map to that confusing and shifting landscape that was her body.

Bull rolled onto his back, then rubbed the base of his horn.
“You’ve gotta be shittin’ me, kadan,” he said. “You want to break into the fucking Fade? Not an expert on this Chantry bullshit, but pretty sure the last time some asshole magister tried that, we ended up with the fucking Blight.”

Solas and Lavellan are figuring things out in the Fade. Her friends would like to have her back.

    Summary

Before he was the Dread Wolf, he was Solas. Before she was reborn as Inquisitor Lavellan, she was Harillena.

A woman destined to shape the fate of two worlds. In the opulent, treacherous court of the Evanuris, she is a pawn in a game of self-proclaimed gods. To Solas, she is a paradox: a rival who threatens his plans and a mirror to the very world he fights for, but most importantly his kindered spirit.

They were two souls fated to shape an empire, and destined to break each other's hearts, forging a bond that time itself could not break.

    Summary

9:43 Dragon. A year has passed since Corypheus’ defeat. The Breach and its Rifts are nothing but recent memories. Yet the Inquisition’s power keeps on growing. In a bid to control this, the Chantry summons Inquisitor Lavellan to the trial she was promised - back in that prison cell in Haven - but never received. Ashara always knew the Divine would not suffer a Dalish apostate to have such influence for long. Quite frankly, she is surprised she was left alone as long as she has been. Unfortunately, that resigned understanding does not make saying goodbye any easier.

    Summary

The night Solas told Cordelia Lavellan the truth about her vallaslin, he pushed her away. But in his rumination, he also made a choice. A different choice.

He chose to stay. He chose to tell her the truth, should they emerge victorious from the war on Corypheus.

He expects anger. He expects hurt. He might even expect (eventual) acceptance. But he does not expect a second chance with the woman he loves. No, he doesn't expect that at all.

    Summary

“You’re awake. Strong, for a Lowlander.”

“What can I say?” He said, “I’m too stubborn to die.”

After Ostagar, after Carver, Garrett Hawke never expected to return to Ferelden - to the lowlands of his birth.

The Avvar of the Basin took him in, offering him a new life. For ten years, Hawke lived among them, first a welcome guest and then part of the Clan. Lothering, and his family, faded, as he found a new home.

    Then the sky split open.

    Summary

Solas told himself his interest was scholarly. It often was. Yet when her eyes flicked, heavy with sleeplessness, to the horizon as though the night itself were a demon stalking her, he found himself yearning for more than just answers.

A delve into the mind of Solas/Fen'Harel as he wakes from Uthenera, comes up with a plan to get his orb unlocked (which causes the big oopsie), joins the Inquisition and finds himself intrigued by Lavellan. He suspects she has secrets too.

Jump to chapter 4 if you'd rather read from when Solas stabilizes Lavellan's mark while she's unconscious after the explosion at the Conclave. If you jump farther, the story probably won't make sense.

    Summary

At the height of the Inquisition’s rise to power, Alec Trevelyan made a choice that solidified his position as a Defender of the Faith - and his position as no friend to mages.

Hawke, the victim of that choice, has spent the intervening years consolidating the city of Kirkwall as a haven for those who do not wish to submit again to the Templar Order. His detractors accuse him of emulating the Imperium, his supporters point to the city flourishing for the first time in decades. The Chantry gnashes its teeth and threatens an Exalted March, when there is no appetite for another war.

Then a letter comes from Ferelden - an invitation, and the promise of protection, for Hawke to attend the Exalted Council, forming to strip the Inquisition of its power. It might be a trap, it might be entirely inadvisable, but it’s the moment Hawke’s been waiting for - if he can bring himself to face the Inquisitor again.

    Summary

    Hawke swallowed.

And if I make a deal? Will you help stop Meredith?

Laughter filled his head, a sound that sent electricity crackling down his spine. Maker, what was he doing?

I will do so much more than that, Champion.

Knight-Commander Meredith almost won the Battle of Kirkwall - and would have done so, if a desperate, broken Hawke hadn’t resorted to blood magic and a pact with a pride demon.

Crossing that line won the day, but Hawke lost everything. Hounded by Templars and friends alike, he retreated to the Wounded Coast as a wanted man. There, alone and hurting, he tried to resist the call of the demon inside him.

But it already had him in its web, and it is only a matter of time before the Champion of Kirkwall is something else entirely.

The Chantry wants the former Warden Commander to face justice, but the Calling appears to have other plans.

Or, a re-telling of Dragon Age Inquisition with a Warden Hawke.

    Summary

Dorian Pavus would like to catch a break. The Lucerni have crumbled, his best friend and long term ally has lost her seat in the Magisterium and the Antaam threaten like never before. A few weeks in Vyrantium should allow him to lie low and come up with a new plan of attack for wrangling the Imperium into reform. As long as no one kills him on the way there.

Except, Mae has some new friends with some rather ridiculous pseudonyms, and they’ve got some allies that Dorian never expected - or wanted - to meet again, let alone travel with.

The Blue Wraith has a reputation in Tevinter, and a target in Vyrantium. It makes sense for them to travel together, to work together. If they don’t kill each other, first.

    Summary

Scarlett Trevelyan approaches everything without so much but whim.
And it was whim that she accidentally stumbled into the dreams of a certain golden-haired Commander. Now all of her whims are enveloped by him, and she doesn't know what to do about it.

Cullen approaches everything with a pragmatism the Inquistor clearly lacks.
But his pragmatism falters as she can't help but glow in his eyes in a way he's never seen, and it's not the mark or the lyrium withdrawal. Now that he's seen it, he doesn't know what to do about it.

    Summary

Cullen Rutherford's worst enemy and greatest asset is his own mind. Addicted to lyrium and dangerously, stupidly in love with the Herald of Andraste, it has sometimes tortured him, but it has always gotten him through. Until now. Haven is on fire, a demigod is stalking them, the Inquisition's war is about to kick off for real, and all he has to keep himself sane enough to survive is a beat up old journal.

    Summary

Cedric the Sorcerer wanted nothing more than to see what secrets lay beyond an ancient, magical mirror. Rather than finding the key to taking over the kingdom of Enchancia, a battle-worn, world-weary warrior stumbled into his arms instead.

Evaline Surana, Hero of Ferelden, vanquisher of the Archdemon, Urthemiel, had faced everything the world of Thedas could throw at her. She had faced betrayal, heartbreak, darkspawn, and demons—but nothing prepared her for her greatest challenge yet: a world of pastel castles, talking animals, and a kingdom where most problems are solved through song.

As old magics begin to unravel across two worlds, Evaline must reconcile with her past, Cedric must (begrudgingly) rise to the occasion, and Princess Sofia might be the only one who truly understands what it means to be a hero.

What a tale this will be for the bards.
