Hand shot out to retrieve his staff, he whipped to face it.

Sapphire eyes stared into him. Impossibly crystalline blue. Doe eyed and framed by dark, thick lashes. Flowed between by the unmistakable sloping of an elven nose. His belly clenched when his gaze fell to her lips. Had there ever been a pair so plush and cherry bitten?
Then, they somehow formed his name.

A defeated Raleigh Samson is taken prisoner by the Inquisition after the battle in the Arbor Wilds. He wanted to die on the overgrown cobblestone; unfortunately, Cullen Rutherford and Melora Lavellan don't give a flying rat. I swear I'm gonna shorten the title but it covers the bases. Here's all you need to know if you haven't read my other story {Isolde Lavellan: The 'Other' Witch of the Wilds} Spoilers dearie 😉Before Lavellan ever left her clan to spy on the Conclave, she met Felassan when she was in her early twenties. They didn't exactly fall in love but they had a kid. Eventually the events of Masked Empire take place and Felassan "dies". Flemeth goes to Izzie and offers to teach her ancient magic that can protect her daughter Ena. Izzie is trained by Flemeth. Izzie is then sent to the Conclave. Inquisiton happens, falls in love with Solas, bla bla bla fluffy stuff. Eventually she figures out he killed Ena's father but I never wrote it. She stays with him cuz **spoilers** Izzie also drinks from the Well of Sorrows. Anyways this story takes place between Inquisiton and Veilguard. I wanted to answer the question: what was Solas even doing for 10 years anyways? Also I needed to write out a love story between Izzie, Abelas and Solas because I'm a sucker for these elves.🙃 Oh and I'm planning/ writing an Emmrich/Abbie Mercar fic that runs parallel to this timeline. The stories will intertwine I hope.
