Summary
A sequel story to "The Long Con" not required to be read before this as it's not good.
In short: Stan and Eda met 20 years before the plot of The Owl House around 10 before Gravity Falls while Eda worked at a Singles Bar name "Thirty and Flirty" then after reuniting in Vegas they got married.
Now this marriage has been brought back to light by Dipper, Mabel and Luz and they want to reunite the two (for two separate reasons).

Edalyn Clawthorne, alias Marilyn Rosenstein, is a witch from another world who finds herself needing to spend a few weeks on Earth. It always helps to disappear for a while after pulling off something big, and it wouldn't hurt to use the time to explore a little bit, would it? It's not like humans know anything about magic.
Stanley Pines, aliases ad infinitum, is a man who deals in lies of every description, and he's been telling one lie to pay for all the rest for twenty years and counting. This week, though? He's on vacation to a glorious city where other people's money can be his for free, completely legally! Mostly because the state of Nevada doesn't have any laws about using cursed amulets to cheat at poker. It's not like anyone would be able to tell.
Alone and adrift in the world, two legendary con artists arrive in Sin City, and instead of passing like ships in the night, they collide like oil tankers with their navigational lights off in a busy shipping channel. It's going to be an interesting weekend.

Summary
Raine Whispers isn't the marrying type. Neither, it seems, is Eda. However, when she stops to think about her past, Eda realizes she might still be married to that guy from Vegas she met years ago. When Eda realizes this, she suggests a spontaneous trip to the Human Realm to have Raine meet the man Eda may still be legally married to.
Stan Pines isn't Mr. Mystery anymore. Soos has filled the role quite nicely, but the two struggle over differing management strategies of the Mystery Shack. When a familiar stranger re-enters Stan's life with the ability to put on a show better than anyone in Gravity Falls, Stan jumps at the opportunity to prove that his creative vision still is up to snuff.

Soos hadn’t stuck around to see who—or what—opened it. The moment the door began to creak, he had bolted back to the safety of the Shack.
Stan narrowed his eyes. "And you didn’t think to tell us sooner? What if it’s some kind of, I don’t know, child-eating witch coven or another interdimensional demon?"
Soos shrugged apologetically. "I wanted to, but I figured you guys would want to check it out yourselves. Besides, nobody’s gotten eaten—yet."
