Summary
The concept of time had escaped Link long ago. From the 100 years he was asleep to the present, everything tends to blur together. It doesn’t make sense, so he tries to not make sense of it.
Call it ignorance, but he thought better of not realizing how much time passed. Normalcy and routine became a foundation he could grasp onto after free falling into what fate called him for the moment his eyes opened. Since then days faded to months and into years, and the more it passes, the more you tend to miss. The longer your hair grows while Zelda cuts hers shorter. The taller children get the next time you see them on few and far between visits to allies.
The less you have to think about a crush you know is unattainable, and maybe that’s why you distanced yourself all the more.
So when your normalcy and routine is quite literally ripped out from under you, along with your arm, reality of time slaps you in the face when Hyrule needs to be united once more. Even with the ability to manipulate it for however short it is, it gives him little comfort and no sense of control.

Summary
One hundred years ago, a princess, a swordsman, and four Champions prepared to defend the land of Hyrule against Ganon’s return.
One hundred years ago, Ganon rose to rule the kingdom of Hyrule. Four Champions fell before succeeding in their duty, their Divine Beasts lost to the malice of Ganon. One hundred years ago, the princess’ sealing power was unlocked… moments too late. One hundred years ago, the swordsman fell.
One hundred years ago, Zelda disappeared to keep Ganon’s power from spreading, her final fate unknown to this day. Two Sheikah never reached their destination and Link was lost.
One hundred years ago, a cursed ceremony took place to save the mortally wounded swordsman.
Fifty years ago, the ceremony failed. A sword, hidden in a mysterious forest, went dark with the death of its bearer.
Today, a Zora with golden scales and no memory awakens in a forgotten chamber.

Summary
In the wake of the Calamity, Zelda feels distinctly out of place. She can't figure out what's wrong with her-- shouldn't she be happier? Shouldn't she feel relief at saving the kingdom and fulfilling her destiny? She has the distinct feeling that she has only traded one burden for another, and must make critical decisions that she is not equipped to handle.
Link wants to earn back Zelda's trust, but can't seem to find the right approach. Does she really see him as the man she knew all those years ago? How can he overcome the strange barrier that seems to have formed between them? He bought the house for them to share, but it feels like she's still far away.
In order to process all that's happened to them, Link and Zelda will have to come together and ask the tough questions. What do they want, and how can they build that future?
