Summary
Brom and Morzan become Dragon Riders under the guidance of Oromis and Glaedr. The rise of Galbatorix to the throne of Alagaësia. The young Arya as a human ambassador. Selena's acquaintance with Morzan and her role as the Black Hand. The birth of Murtagh and Nasuada. Ajihad is freed and seeks the Varden. Hefring steals Saphira's egg from the king. The love between Brom and Selena. The birth of Eragon. Angela and Solembum's prophecy. The story of Durza and the Ra’zac. Eragon meets his other half, Saphira.
I made an attempt to see our familiar heroes with fresh eyes. Lifting the curtain slightly—the one draped over them—I peeked behind it for a moment. And what I glimpsed truly left me breathless. What we knew about them was only the surface. Beneath lies a world of choices, regrets, and untold truths. Come, let’s live through these stories together for a while, reliving the heroes’ distant, glorious days. Let’s experience their moments of joy and sorrow, their anguish or wild passions. Let’s share in their thoughts, emotions, and hopes. Brom, Morzan, Oromis, Galbatorix, Selena, Ajihad, Eragon, Murtagh, Arya, and other heroes will come close to us for a time. -

Summary
What if Brom had run sooner—farther?
If, instead of carving out a resistance in shadow and silence, he had fled with Selena and her child to the very edges of the Empire—beyond where the King's breath could reach, beyond even the memory of oaths and fire—what would they have become?A girl- born of Morzan’s blood but shaped by forest air and her mother’s hands. Would she have grown brave and sharp-edged like Selena, or would the old cruelty have shown in her gaze when no one was looking?
This is a story of the life that almost was—a life not traced in ash and vengeance, but in moss-lined paths and quiet defiance.
No blades, no Riders. Just a man who chose love over war, a woman who had already lost too much, and the child between them who might have rewritten everything. She might have learned to name wildflowers before weapons. To read the wind before the language of runes.
She might have laughed like a child should—soft, unburdened, unguarded.
She might have remained unseen. But peace is a thin veil.
And even in the deep woods, some hungers do not sleep.
The past does not stay buried. It watches. It waits.
And sometimes, it sends a name instead of a shadow. -

Summary
Being a rider is not exactly how Galbatorix and Morzan had imagined it to be. One chafes with the limits, the other with the rules.
It was fate that they should meet eventually, although it was certainly supposed to happen differently.
Friends are made, a dragon survives and history... gets a little confused and drops some things.Series

Summary
A criminal prodigy rising to power with a thirst for revenge
A Suli spy known as the Wraith
A Grisha Fabrikator living Barrel life as a sharpshooter
A Heartrender who uses magic to survive in the slums
A former Fjerdan Grisha hunter who has narrowly escaped death.
These are the people Eragon hires to win back a fourth Dragon egg, who no one had even realized was there. And in the bustling Kerch city of Ketterdam, trouble is brewing, and danger is around every corner. But sometimes, the monsters that lurk in the dark don’t get chased away for good. And sometimes, not every monster looks like a monster. The people of Alagaësia will learn that soon enough, and they are not prepared for the rising threat from Ketterdam.

Summary
As the Battle of Urû'baen draws to a close, Galbatorix utters two words that tear the fabric of Eragon's life asunder:
"Be not."
While the Eldunarí are able to protect his companions, Eragon knows that their power won't be enough. Unwilling to see his brother and his dragon, his liege, his partner-of-mind-and-heart, and his—shieldmate? beloved?—dearest friend perish in the blast, he casts a spell guaranteeing their lives: but at the cost of his own. The un-making of Galbatorix is the un-making of himself, too, and Eragon is ready to make that sacrifice if it means bringing about an age of peace.
Though, when he wakes up in a familiar forest clearing, faced with a familiar blue stone, and with suspicious and frightening gaps in his memory, he cannot help but wonder what forces are at play…and what those forces would ask him to sacrifice now.
An end-of-Inheritance divergence that puts Eragon in something of a time loop, forcing choices upon him that both redefine and reinforce his very being. What will Eragon do now, knowing that all of his actions lead, have led, and will lead to the inevitable end of all he holds dear?

Summary
What would have happened if Murtagh had not grown up in Urû’baen and had met Nasuada early on? If Ajihad had survived and if Eragon had not rushed to confess his love to Arya? If Galbatorix had taken a more active role in the Inheritance Cycle plot than in the books? These and many other mysteries I will try to answer in this story.

Summary
In the heart of the elven forest, a young elf maiden grows beneath the weight of duty and silent longing. She avoids the palace’s familiar faces, drawn instead to two enigmatic figures—an elf lost in whispered melodies and a sorrowful human wandering toward the cliffs of Tel’naeír, where the last Dragon Rider and his wounded dragon dwell in exile.
Bound by unseen threads, the three share a quiet understanding, their loneliness weaving an unspoken kinship. And as the seasons bloom around her, the girl mourning a father lost too soon slowly becomes the woman fate has yet to claim. -

Summary
This sequel completely ignores anything after Inheritance, so names, places, characters will likely be different. I have not read either of the two new books and prefer to pretend like they don't exist. This will be slower to update.
Two decades is a long time to be gone from home. Things change, for better or for worse. Eragon has had twenty years to build/change relationships with his friends/allies/family. Letters/mirrors can't tell us everything about the people we love. What happens when he goes back home? Who will lift him up and who will bring him down?
If you want cold or spiteful Eragon, this is not a story for you.
If you think a man can have a past, but a woman can't, this may not be a story for you.
If you believe that someone can love more than one person in their lifetime, this may be a story for you.
If you believe that your greatest love doesn't have to be your first love, this may be a story for you.
If you believe people can change and forgive, this may be a story for you.
If you know that there is more than one way to have a healthy relationship, this may be a story for you.
Fäolin is mentioned briefly, if you can handle that, then this may be a story for you. -

Summary
They navigated for days. The days turned chillier. Until one day, an immense wall made of ice surged in the distance. When Eragon and Saphira discover Westeros, it's not exactly the place they expected to raise dragons and train riders.
When Jon Snow woke up after the Battle of the Bastards, he never expected to see a blue dragon in the courtyard of Winterfell, let alone a talkative one.

Summary
An illustrated fanfic that focuses primarily on the life of one Lady Immogen after she finds herself entangled with the Varden's war against the usurper king, Galbatorix, and bonded to a being she does not fully understand. More than a love story, this is a deeper exploration into the world building of Alagaësia and its colorful cast of characters. Our protagonist will not always be the focus of the story. Spoiler warning for basically the entire series.
Enjoy the ride!

Summary
I have recently started Fireborne after finishing the Inheritance Cycle and suddenly I got this crazy idea going that the Aurelian Cycle characters are magically transported into Alagaësia and become Eragon’s new Dragon Riders, and yes I have only read up to chapter 6/7/8 (I have no idea at this point) of Fireborne but I do not care because it’s such an epic story. :) PS: Main POVs are Lee, Annie, and Eragon.
