Year 4312 - The Dawn Era Begins
The Eclipse has passed. Lavitra is saved.
The illithid invasion was thwarted by the combined efforts of many heroes, including the renowned adventurers of Death’s Bane. But once the ashes have settled and their victory celebrated, the party disbands to continue their journeys alone. For most, this signals a return to homes left long ago, new bonds formed and a bright future ahead. For Gwydion of the Underdark, it is a harsh dismissal from those he cares most about. And for Sir Kuldor Kormrael, it is the beginning of the cruelest ordeal he has ever faced.
A year has passed since the beginning of a new era, one that promised to finally bring peace to the world but instead holds more dangers than ever before. As Gwydion begins to dig deeper into the carefully laid plans of a former ally, he finds that Kuldor is trapped in the middle of a deadly struggle for power. With the eyes of the enemy fixed upon him, Kuldor can only rely on Gwydion to help him escape his fate and repair the broken pieces of himself once more. Secrets and lies soon follow, and old feelings become impossible to ignore.
Everyone knows that a dragon’s hoard should be left well enough alone.
