Harvey has just moved into Stardew Valley after buying the clinic in its Pelican Town. But Harvey is anxious, awkward and crippling with self-doubt, so managing his own clinic in a random town in the middle-of-nowhere part of the British countryside is a hard thing to adjust to.
Shane has always struggled with his mental health, but ever since taking on the father figure role with his goddaughter Jas, he has been slipping towards rock bottom. His alcoholism has gotten worse, he's been isolating himself from his family and his thoughts have gotten more and more unbearable.
But when these two struggling men meet one warm Spring evening, they learn that they can overcome any mental road blocks with love, understanding and trust. And they both need therapy.

This was not obvious to anyone except for the three interlopers of Stardew Valley: Dr. Harvey, Shane, and Tatti. A doctor, a drunk, and a farmer.

One may think that after years in Pelican town the doctor, the drunk, and the farmer would have figured out the key to a structured life. But really, the key was no secret to be found out.
They each had a structure, a path, a purpose, a routine. They were always creatures of habit.

Also because I greatly enjoy the dynamic between Harvey and my farmer. Also also because I started a routine of visiting him every day in my game a while back and I think it's cute. Also also ALSO because I think it's a little odd that your spouse only moves in with you after the wedding, when in reality most people move in together well before relationships ever get that far, because it just makes sense.

I thought it was about time that I covered what happened when Jerusha mentioned an incident with Shane, all the way back in part 2 of the Harvey and Jerusha series.

Shane gets carried away by the celebratory mood and Harvey is there to unwittingly pick up the pieces.
