I rewrote the whole game as a reverse AU. A lot of it doesn't diverge too far from canon, all things considered, but some things are very different and you get a good look at the emotions and thoughts of the main characters.

In the months since the Revolution, Markus hadn't known anything had even been wrong.
But as it becomes increasingly apparent that all is not well with himself, Markus finds it somehow even more difficult to navigate the political realities of a post-revolutionary world than it had been to lead the revolution in the first place.
Markus knows he can help deviantkind begin to heal from their collective trauma by leading the charge in confronting his own demons. But his very position as leader precludes him from doing so.

A reverse-au where androids are humans and humans are androids, set on the University of Michigan campus. Connor and Richard - aka Nines - Anderson, twin brothers and both sophomores at the college, are about to have their worlds turned upside down when two new androids enter their lives.
Connor finds himself under the constant watchful eye of an HK-700 caretaker model android, specially designed by Chloe Kamski and his father, David, in order to steer him - as everyone around him always seems to be putting it - 'in the right direction.' A response to his growing list of destructive habits, the HK has been sent to monitor Connor's every move. Will he learn to appreciate it's guidance, or turn inward even further at the notion of somebody - or something - caring about him?
Nines, working himself to the bone every day and night, has a chance encounter with a GV-200 model patrol android that he can't seem to stop running into, and he can't help but notice how more and more human the thing seems to act the more they meet. Will he report these suggestions of deviancy, or befriend - or more - the gangly android monitoring the streets outside of his apartment?

Here's my contribution to the fandom: It's a full length reverse au. Everyone who's an android i tried to switch with a person but some characters are just moved around, most noticeably Lucy but that's just how the blu cheese crumbles. I've put a lot of thought and work into this because not only did i think this all out, i fixed all of the problems with the original story: mainly david cage being a coward and a bitch. Simon leans forward until he and Markus are inches away. Blue eyes meet Markus' heterochromatic. He places his hand on his scruffy cheek. His thumb brushes his hair and traces his nose, then his lips after. Slowly, Markus copies. He runs his thumb over sparking scales, counting the shapes. Then his hand closes over Simon’s chin, gently opening his mouth to see his fanged canines. His teeth come together into a cheeky grin. Simon nips his finger playfully, then in one smooth motion, he steals the sandwich and dunks under the water out of reach. Markus is left on the edge of the pool, mouth open like a fish, with a dumb expression on his face. Then he laughs.
