He had broken bones, torn ligaments, collected lacerations and abrasions, bruises and tenderness like it was all he knew how to do. Like all he had available was the ability to take a hit and keep on ticking, to control the pain, to learn the way his body failed, and failed, and failed, until he could circumvent it.

“Techno,” Philza says again, and he has a suppressed, muted kind of frantic panic in his voice. “Have you - how did you obtain a child-”
Techno recoils in offense. Tommy perks up again with renewed, enraged vigor. “He’s holding me here against his will,” he spits, shoulders drawing up. “He dragged me up here kicking and screaming - I tried to leave and he trapped me-”
“Down, dog,” Techno growls in half-irony.
The child, to Techno’s bafflement, obeys - in a manner of speaking. He flinches at the words, and he draws his shoulders up and flattens his wings against his back and gives Techno a narrow-eyed look of pure spite. The feathers over his ears draw up, cat-like, as he takes a step away.

I am obsessed with the way Jimin's inner thoughts repeat painful words like "egocentric" again and again because that is exactly what it feels like to have those shameful feelings. It was the critical voice of her mother visiting her repeatedly without Jimin always realizing that's whose voice it was. Poor Jimin thought it was her own voice sometimes. For real, the inner shame is so well captured in your writing here and Jimin really came to life. ALSO I enjoyed how you wrote Jungha's physical style, not super soft but more focused on muscles and tattoos and stuff. She sounds so handsome.
