But instead of turning into a force ghost and lining up to watch his children's triumph like a judgmental, force-powered peanut gallery, Vader opened his eyes to the twin suns of Tatooine. Made to kneel before Jabba's throne, the only thing Vader could think of was that this was an apt punishment.
It being 45 BBY, a pity only that neither Tatooine nor the galaxy were prepared for a full-fledged Sith lord.

In the event of Sith Lord Palpatine's early reveal and capture, the war between Republic and Confederacy systems cools before it can begin. Terms are negotiated, discussions held, and over the course of several years planets leave or affirm their place within the Republic peacefully.
However... not all of the Sith's plans were stopped in time. As their contract falls apart, Kamino comes to the Senate with an offer; a million clones once trained as soldiers, with enough reprocessed into obedient and loyal companions to supply both the Senate buyers and Jedi benefactors with their pick of units.
With the demand of slaves only outstripped by the harshening legislation outlawing slavery of sentient beings within Republic space, the Senate agrees on the ruling that as Kaminoan clones are non-sentient, neither their creation nor their sale is deemed as criminal.
Thus, the initial shipment of clones into service under the label "Courtesy Class" is sent -- the majority of which is delivered to the Jedi Temple as a gesture of appreciation. Among those are 2224, given to one Obi-Wan Kenobi, and 7567 for his Padawan, Anakin Skywalker.
