Summary

Strange people and strange happenings have long been rumored to dwell in the darkness. Of course, hoaxes and hysteria have long fueled most of those rumors. Some have even been attributed to the supernatural. Yet, though time has obscured the truth, a handful of events remain difficult to explain even today, and a disproportionate number of them seem to have occurred during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
I, a researcher in the early 2020s, began learning of some of these more unlikely and unusual happenings that are seldom found outside forgotten tomes and library archives quite by accident, and have taken it upon myself to piece together what happened, no matter how unlikely these events may seem...
I hope it will thrill you.
It may shock you.
It might even horrify you.

What happenes when two strange men appear on the streets of London, one of them seemingly in the process of bleeding out, during Mina and Jonathan´s evening walk?---
As they approached, the voice became a bit clearer. It seemed to be that of a male, muttering something so full of sorrow and desperation that Jonathan´s steps quickened just a beat. He glanced around the corner and froze. There were two of them, there huddled on the ground. A large man, all soft curves and soft wavy hair, and a smaller one, lying in the other´s arms, who looked almost brittle with his too-thin frame and long grey-streaked hair. Then it finally registered. The blood. Red ribbons, rushing from the smaller man’s chest in blooming fury. The larger man´s hands were stained crimson with it as he tried to stop the never-ending current. He was crying, sobs wracking his large form as tears streamed down his cheeks, mixing with the pools of red beneath. “I´m sorry, I’m so sorry. Please don’t go, Jon, please. I can´t do this without you. I´m sorry”.

Jonathan had invited the Count, someone who had arrived not so long ago to their kingdom, to have some tea at his house, which ends in the Count departing suddenly once a secret of his is revealed.

— xtra : In this world, fae are classified as those who have features of winged insects. E.g butterflies, beetles, moths…
— xtra : Moonlit fae are those who have used too much raw magic, especially for their own means, and have become corrupt. Most people in Saegald do not know that it is possible for such to occur, as it is incredibly rare that someone would go so far for something that was perceived as useless and painful.
Physical features include: more markings than usual that are especially dark in colour, slightly disfigured hands, and steadily so the more raw magic is used, wings sensitive to sunlight (the sun is thought to have cleansing properties), and are therefore more active at night, sharper teeth, etc

A Dracula au about Jonathan turning into a vampire in Draculas castle. It's about Jonathan struggling to adjust to his new life as a creature of the night. Sa victims and their recovery. Rape is not to graphic, pretty close to how it was in the original novel just going further. If you feel uncomfortable or triggered by it easily I would recommend not reading it. It will include several ships of the novel however slowly and only Harkula is implied in the first chapter.
However despite the romance this will still be mainly a Dracula retelling than a queer romance.

Blood of My Blood is a collaborative AU of the novel Dracula, made by several amazing contributors, producing writing, art and meta. In the AU, the Harkers and their vampire son, Quincey, become permanent residents of Castle Dracula. Quincey is raised by his loving but ethereal Mum (Mina), the stern and commanding Father (Dracula) and Papa (Jonathan), who willingly gives his blood to all three vampires through "kisses" to sustain his family. A lot of work went into maintaining the illusion of the happy family.
Quincey's rose-tinted glasses make his childhood seem idyllic, and when he travels to London and meets Lu Holmwood, he promptly falls in love. But one evening he is given a stack of documents by Arthur, the writings of his parents and others, documenting exactly what kind of person his Father was (is?), and what his parents were like before he knew them.How does it feel to read a horror novel when it's your happy childhood that is the horror?
