Summary
An alternate universe where Ray is shipped off in place of Norman. Or where black and white switch places.
In this alternate version of The Promised Neverland, Isabella announces that Norman is being adopted but Ray makes a deal with her to take Norman's place, offering himself up to be shipped instead. Norman, furious with Ray’s decision, doesn’t understand why he would sacrifice himself. Before leaving, Ray gives Norman and Emma letters, where he confesses his feelings to Norman, hoping to finally express what he’s kept hidden. Norman and Emma are devastated, thinking Ray has been killed after his departure. However, in a twist, Ray is not sent to his death but instead is shipped off to Lambda, where his journey takes a darker turn as he grapples with his new, harsh reality. Meanwhile, Norman and Emma deal with the aftermath of Ray’s sacrifice and their grief, unaware of his true fate. -

They were even able to reunite the children with their parents if they had survived as sisters or mothers on the farms. Norman was so glad, but he noticed something weird, while they showed everyone there files, no one would show him his, dismissing him and ignoring him. It wasn’t until a nurse had left some paperwork on his bed that he saw his name, his REAL name printed in bold font
