A tyre slipping on tarmac, a bike bucking, another rider hitting him, scrapped leathers, a hit of the helmet on the asphalt and Joan found himself deep into a gravel trap again.
His elbow had clipped the small dip between the run off area and the gravel trap, the hit had sent a sharp sting up his left arm, leaving it numb as he laid in the gravel for a few seconds, trying to catch his breath. He stayed still on his side for a few seconds, tired, before sitting up.
Or Joan struggles with his crashes in the 2025 season and Luca is here to help.

Marc wasn't an idiot.
He may not be the most in tune person with his body but he wasn’t born yesterday. He knew what was happening and it was not the time for his body to betray him. He didn’t spend the last several years suppressing every single one of his instincts and pumping himself with borderline illegal suppressants for them to not work anymore.
Now wasn’t the time to be in heat.
Especially during the Misano Grand Prix.OR : Marc has been kicked out of the paddock pack for the last 10 years, taking suppressants that are supposed to basically make him a Beta. But to his horror, they fail right during a Grand Prix week end in the worst place they could.

“I don’t really know,” Luca replies, his mouth stretched in a smile so pretty it makes Marc’s heart catch in his throat. He’s timelessly handsome, in a way that only statues and portraits are, and he’s looking at Marc now, still sporting that expression of warm, gentle familiarity.
Is your singing voice like your brother’s? He wants to ask, so much that his teeth ache with it. Because he heard Valentino sing, he does remember how he sounds like when he’s mindlessly humming around a tune, and that’s an experience he wouldn’t wish upon his worst enemy. What he says instead is “Maybe your favorite song will do?” without knowing anything about Luca’s preferences music-wise.
For all he knows, he could like death metal. Or jazz. Or musicals. Either way, he shouldn’t care.

Ma forse era stato proprio quello: un "banale" trofeo, a far succedere tutto?
