Dr. Wily paused for a moment, his smile fading. Only for his sinister grin to come back with full force, along with fire in his eyes.
“I think I’ll call it… Irregular Fever.”It had been over a year since Bass became friends with Rock. And together, along with Blues, Roll, and Kalinka, the five of them shared many moments of laughter, tears, fears, and comfort. And Bass learned what it meant to love and how to care for others thanks to his newfound friendships. Now, Bass is taking every moment one step at a time, refusing to let life move past him for even the slightest second.
But nothing good can last forever.
When a new threat arises, one that none of them could have expected, our five friends find themselves being thrust into a world of chaos, one that they thought they had left behind for good.

Summary
The New Squidbeak Splatoon go on a seemingly routine mission to raid an Octarian base, in order to stop a mad scientist's experiments and to capture said scientist, Gate. Unfortunately, when Gate unleashes his project and things go pear-shaped fast, it's up to the Agents to adapt to some unexpected changes, while X and Zero are forced to attack the front entrance as part of the main rescue effort, and Callie and Marie try to sneak in to help. Unfortunately for Callie, a nasty blast from the past in form of a former "ally" has arrived to reinforce the Octarian defenders, and said "former ally" is not happy with her...

Summary
The fights between the blue bomber and his self-proclaimed arch-rival were getting out of hand as they return to their homes with moderate damages to their armors and artificial skins.
The Light-bot has grown weary of Bass's obssession to fighting him specifically, while the dark-clad Wily-bot has modified himself and tinkered with his buster without Wily's knowledge until his inner-systems malfunctioned and his body shut down.
Bass's plan to defeat Megaman turned downhill when Dr. Wily disabled his buster function and confiscated it as some sort of punishment. Unable to retrieve his buster due to nosy robotic siblings and meddlesome machines, he begrudgingly awaited for his creator to grant him an opportunity to regain his buster in exchange to bringing a surprise guest for Dr. Wily's secret plan.
All it took for Bass to get the job done was to hit the target was a shot to the head by using a deactivated Metool, a Metool's cap is rumored to be more dense than Guts Man's glutes and his Super Arm combined.
