Cet été, en faisant des recherches sur Dumas, je suis tombée sur une nouvelle publiée dans le journal Le Siècle pour faire patienter les lecteurs avant la parution de la suite des Trois Mousquetaires. Cela raconte la rencontre de nos Mousquetaires au lycée Louis-Le-Grand, un des établissements les plus prestigieux. Comme le plagiat, c’est mal, j’ai réécrit cette nouvelle pour qu’elle coïncide avec notre époque. Voilà donc nos quatre Mousquetaires au XXIe siècle, faisant leur rentrée scolaire au lycée !

The clerk clears his throat, and Wriothesley isn’t sure if he is imagining the soft dusting of pink on his face.
“I asked what it will be for you today, sir?” asks the cashier, and oh his voice… Surprisingly deep for such an angelic face, but silky as honey. Wriothesley wouldn’t mind hearing it everyday.
“Oh. Um. I will have a -” Shoot. He forgot what Clorinde wrote to him. Wriothesley quickly looks down at his phone and squints at the weird name his colleague wrote. “a maechialo please,” he finishes.
When he looks back at the clerk, he sees confusion painted on his beautiful face.
“I’m afraid that we don’t have this on the menu, sir,” says the clerk. His expression turns neutral, but his eyes betray his amusement, as well as how his lips threaten to pull up into a smile.
