A pasado un tiempo desde la caída del muro, Ballister espera cada día el regreso de Nimona, después de un tiempo de estar esperando su regreso, se empieza a sentir cansado y sin fuerzas, Ambrosius le insiste en descansar, pero Ballister se empeña en cumplir sus labores de caballero, hasta que un día la cosa se pone seria y es llevado al hospital, en donde con confusión le dan la noticia de que se encuentra en estado de embarazo, esto asombra a los caballeros, pero Ballister asume que esta es la forma que tiene Nimona de volver, prometiendo así asegurarse de que esta nueva vida sea feliz y sin sufrimiento para la chica cambia formas.
