    “They’ll think that we cloned ourselves,” Donnie mumbled. “Like Dolly the sheep.”

    “And Sonic,” Raph added.

    Michelangelo tilted his head. “The hedgehog?”

    “No, the fucking honey badger,” Raphael scoffed. “Dumbass.”

    “Your ass is dumb,” Michelangelo said, sticking out his tongue. “And flat.”

    “You motherfucker – ”

    Leonardo held up a hand. “You two can both be dumbasses once we’re back in our dimension, but for now, cool it. We’re on a mission. Act like it.”

    Raphael pulled a face, but they both quieted down. Ooh. Leo would have to steal that trick. Maybe it’d work better than the tears that he usually resorted to when the guys got like this. Not that it worked very well.

    A full year passed since the recovery and rehabilitation of the turtles and New York. Weirdly enough the residents of New York were more accepting of the mutants and various yokai roaming the streets. The states were even considering moving forward with citizenship for the honorable deeds that the creatures performed for the human race during those trying times. Although with the new state of New York, crime was not decreased in the slightest, only proving to increase from the numerous new Yokai threats.

    All this combined led to this very bizarre situation Mikey now found himself in.

    Basically, a Mikey-centric story with a cross-over twist. Mikey is a little bean in this story since he is my favorite! I tried my hardest to portray the turtles close to their tv personalities, but I added my own flair. I have not watched the 2012 series since I was a little tot, so I am going off my imagination for some parts. This story was inspired by Vanilla Vengeance's Mystic Malfunction. It's a good read! Not all chapters will have cover art, but some will. Enjoy!

It was as if he was staring into the comforting rays of the sun, without the pain in your eyes of course. If this was heaven, not what he expected.

    Double not what he expected when he gets spat out onto the alley streets of New York and suddenly gets reunited with Casey Jones and now is a father of four and possibly more. He now knows he's not dead, but if he was, he'd punch Mikey in the face for this fucked version of "a second chance".
