The child blinks at him, then lifts a little hand to make what is recognizably letters in the sign language alphabet, but too quickly (and possibly clumsily, given tiny fingers) for Jayce to follow.
"Sorry," Jayce says. "I didn't catch that, I'm not very good with sign. Can you go slower for me?"
The child looks up at Viktor with wide, solemn eyes and tugs on his pants sharply, twice.
Viktor smiles down and brushes his hand over unruly curls. "Her name is Isha," he tells Jayce.
"You have a very pretty name," Jayce tells Isha seriously. "You want to trade? I could be Isha and you could be Jayce."

It's been months since Jayce and Viktor reunited, working on expanding their commune and helping people as they always wanted, but added the fact that they had accepted to stop using hexchtech to do so as for starters, using it would end up destroying the world and second, Viktor has to save as much energy as he can for the baby in his belly to properly develop.
But alas, that will be a little bit difficult as a colourful group threaten their domestic peace with their peculiarities, but they'll manage, as they always do.
OR: Jayce and Viktor are living their best lives expectant of their baby but nothing lasts forever so now they also have to deal with a lesbian, a furry, a psychotic girl and her sidekick/child.

His stomach lurches as he steps behind a crumbling building, eyes following broad shoulders and tan skin as Jayce takes a closer look at the hotel — Viktor's hotel. A part of Viktor wonders if the Gods had it out for him — wasn't the turmoil in his life enough for them? Because I hate the things my face does when you look at it, is the unspoken answer. Viktor spits on Jayce's cheek. He gags, recoils.
"Get out of my house."
"Fine, fucking - fine."
Jayce swings the Mercury Hammer over his shoulder, cracks open the door. When he looks back Viktor has hoisted himself up onto the gurney, crossed his legs, and is waving coyly with a sick, entertained smile plastered across his face, one that drops immediately once Jayce has sighed and crossed the property line. Viktor slams the door shut behind him, drags his trembling fingers over every single bolt and chain again and again until he knows the thing is locked for good, turns to press his back against it, and then slides down to the floor.
What a wreck of a day.
"I have absolutely no idea what you see in him," Naph sighs, eventually remerging from the gloom of the lab, hands tucked firmly in his short pockets, hair sticking out at all these comically odd angles, shaking his head like a disapproving parent. He tosses something into the air and catches it, and then throws it and catches it again - blue, spherical, and pulsing with a wild but comfortingly familiar kind of life. A Hex Gem. Viktor scrambles desperately across the lab, snatches it out of mid air when Naph casts it up again.
"Where did you get this?"
"I pried it out of the Defender's Mercury Hammer when he was busy bawling over you shoving a needle through his arm. The thing was broken in whatever scrap he'd gotten into - I just gave it a nudge and it practically fell into my hand."
"Naph ...," says Viktor rapturously. He seizes Naph by either side of his face, and brings their foreheads together, Naph giggling as Viktor's grin splits his face wider and wider. "You are wonderful."
"Does this mean we'll be able to get Blitzcrank up and going quicker now?"
"Blitzcrank?"
Naph nods. "You know, the golem?"

They're unimaginably close, almost chest to chest, and Viktor can't help but think that every single time he's seen Jayce since Naph and Amaranthine started becoming involved with each other Jayce has seen his face, has either walked into the lab when Viktor was unawares or forced it off of him. He's become insatiable, accidentally slipped an inch and now prepared to do whatever it takes to get that mile. Jayce searches every single inch of his face - though for what Viktor isn't sure. The worst option, and the one he's nearly absolutely sure that it is, is that Jayce is committing him to memory; just in case Viktor ever slips away again; just in case next time he can't get at the clasps of the mask; just in case next time there isn't a mask at all. Viktor understands, in a very roundabout way. He's slippery.Very privately, he just wishes Jayce would ask, instead of going through all of this sneaking and plotting. He'd hate it, but he's always been quite weak for the word please in Jayce's voice.

Today is Saturday. Saturday means that Amaranthine gets to go have lunch with Ximena. Lunch with Ximena means that Amaranthine has to get up extra early to do her hair all fancy and pick out a nice dress. Sometimes Jayce will take a morning off from whatever the hell it is he does in the lab to help her choose - occasionally she finds that her dad has very good opinions on clothes, but most of the times not so much. Still, it's nice just to have him there - but today, she doesn't suspect he will.
That is because last night, the Talis house had visitors.
