In all the chaos of the mission, Gojo tries control an inner turmoil of both the pressure of being the strongest, and the past trauma from the star-plasma vessel that led to Geto spiraling, and the day 10 years later when he was faced with having to kill the only person he ever truly loved. Suguru Geto.
It only gets worse when he sees a slight resemblance of Geto in his new partner. Maybe he’s new partner is not like Geto at all. And Gojo just tries to see something that isn’t there in the first place…
