It has been five years since Kagome Higurashi returned to the Warring States Era to stay with Inuyasha forever. Now married, the two have travelled the country for several years and have now returned to the village where they first met for a reunion with their friends. All in all, it seems that Kagome and Inuyasha's troubles are well and truly over. But of course, it couldn't be that simple. Without warning, Inuyasha, Kagome and their friends are thrust into another adventure when a band of mysterious demons attack the village. Can our heroes defeat this new threat to their lives, or will these demons prove to be too much for them to handle?

“He didn’t have too”, reasoned Kagome. “I’m perfectly capable of looking after myself”.
Inuyasha rolled his eyes. “It’s been fifty years. He’s got a promise to keep. Sesshoumaru’s all about honour and crap. He’s not going to piss off just because you want him too”.
“I know”, said Kagome. “I’m just happiest in the village with you and Rin. I don’t care if the villagers are uneasy about me. I just want to help them. A priestess is supposed to look after those in her charge”.

When a miko’s curse turns Inuyasha into a giant fluffy wolfdog, Kagome is left to deal with suspicious villagers, chaotic friends, and a husband who sheds worse than Buyo.
But the real challenge? Keeping her hands off the overgrown floof when he’s still every bit the overprotective, smug hanyo she married.
(Kagome’s not sure which was harder—brushing a six-foot wolfdog or surviving the night once Inuyasha got his hands back.)

Years have passed since Sesshomaru left Rin in the small village his half-demon brother, InuYasha, lived in. After Naraku's defeat it was imperative for Sesshomaru to gain control of his land once more. This meant making enemies, and revealing those who opposed his reign. It was no way for his young ward Rin to live, and the danger she would face caused Sesshomaru to make the ultimate decision to leave her behind. Rin grew into a beautiful woman that married a young lord in a bordering region. She had a daughter named Ameki who was now princess of the Yamato castle, but recently a war has begun. Sesshomaru fights to take back what is rightfully his, but the battle spreads to what was once known to be, and maybe still is his most prized possession.

Kagome had succeeded in defeating Naraku and fixing the Shikon No Tama. It took her years to be permitted to return to the past and she never could have expected that she wouldn't be returning alone. Ellie made a vow to protect Kagome and not even the threats that she would face in feudal japan would prevent her from keeping that promise. Ellie had prepared for a lot of things through her experiences and adventures in her life. Nothing could have fully prepared her for what she would face traveling five hundred years in the past, including meeting Lord Sesshomaru of the Western Lands. He certainly wasn't prepared for Ellie to turn his life unside down in the middle of a war.

However, the couple's first date is interrupted by a mysterious ship appearing in Earth's atmosphere. Together, they are beamed aboard and now must navigate a serious of messy obstacles to get off the ship and back to safety.
