Summary
A man arrives in the town of Dempsey, an outsider who brings an orphaned child along with him. The town does not trust them and leaves them nowhere to go. Knowing this, the man does everything he can to ensure the child’s prosperity in this new land.
One night a blind man takes pity on the pair. Inviting the pair into his home, the owner claims he can help them, offering them food and board, but only if the newcomers themselves can offer their help in exchange.

Karl knew something was wrong the moment that he step foot outside. He was inside a bakery – a very familiar bakery that haven’t been touched in months. There’s something off about it, almost like the very foundation had been changed. Like it wasn’t built by who it should have been. Karl steps through the door and stood frozen as he comes face to face with a scene that he only heard about.The Execution but with people that he only met once at the helm. Standing straight and giving the crowd a once over is none other than Sheriff Sherman Thompson with Robin by his side. Robin seems uncomfortable and keeps looking back at the person in the cage; even pulling at the sleeves of his suit, almost like it wasn't made for him.
His straw hat was the only thing that let Karl know that was Robin.

A few people froze before continuing on their walk. “And don’t bother calling for XD. The guy would agree with us over you any day.”
