Summary
One meal.
That’s all it is. Just one meal.
There's nothing more to it than to bite, chew, and swallow. That’s the easy part, really. After borrowing a couple potatoes from his neighbors, haggling with the shopkeep for glowberries to make the juice, and hunting that damned cow for this meal himself, eating it should’ve been the easy part.
It was just going to be him, his meal, and his son.

I know he's there. I can see him watching me, peeking at me through the treeline. I don't know what he wants, but he seems to never dare approach the stream separating our land from the wood.

Summary
A man arrives in the town of Dempsey, an outsider who brings an orphaned child along with him. The town does not trust them and leaves them nowhere to go. Knowing this, the man does everything he can to ensure the child’s prosperity in this new land.
One night a blind man takes pity on the pair. Inviting the pair into his home, the owner claims he can help them, offering them food and board, but only if the newcomers themselves can offer their help in exchange.

Summary
This is a compilation of all the pieces that take place within my Over-City/Under-City AU, which is also a Hot Guy/Cute Guy Superhero AU, though that's not the only thing that'll be going on! I plan to keep this series in chronological order, so I'll put all the pieces where they'd fall along the timeline, which may sometimes not line up with the publishing date. The exception to this is 'Pretty Boy' which, IF someone does want to read the whole series in order, I'd want them to have read that one first and then all the rest, so 'Pretty Boy' will always be the first fic in the line-up, but after that you could read chronologically or just bounce around as you please! I've written all of these to mostly stand-alone, so you shouldn't be too terribly confused no matter where you decide to start up!

Basically a superhero universe, hotguy and cuteguy centric. BUT now that I’ve read it more there’s some awesome and cute ships in here. it’s one of the VERY few series that includes the empire, hc, and life series people all in one and it’s awesome to see them all have interconnected relationships.
