Mothra carefully stepped closer, her claws clicking delicately against the rocks under her feet. With a heartbeat of a pause, she stopped, looked down, nudged a rock with an inner claw, and tilted her head as a tremor rocked the floor.
"This seems..." Slowly, she lifted her head again. He was learning how to tell when her eyes were actually focused on him, and he could feel the moment their eyes met as a jolt. "Lonely."
"It... can get lonely after a while. Yes."

The Battle of Manhattan has left many Titans wounded and as such it allows Monarch to closely study them as they use this time to recuperate. An intern who was sent to study Rodan on an island in Fiji was bored out of his mind due to Rodan's inactivity however with a sudden spike in unseen temperatures inside the volcano his boredom is culled as he along with his team make a mind-blowing discovery.

Rodan does not know what to do now with Ghidorah gone, he's left on his own. In his current state, he is more afraid and anxious than ever and with these pesky creatures poking around his home, he does not feel any better. And yet they do not seem to mean him harm...maybe he can trust these bothersome little things.

But the real danger, Izuku realizes, isn’t always found in the things that tower above buildings. It’s in the people who tower over others. In the way society rewards strength, quirks, and control — and forgets to look back at what was sacrificed to get there. The world is full of ambition dressed as heroism, history turned to smoke, and power built on silence.
