Summary
Mk has been having a hard time with the whole, being a monkey, meant to die, world changing events thing. Hasn't even told anyone what happened in the Pillar. Everyone is worried about him, and he doesn't know how to handle that either.
With a little intervention from Sandy, Mk ends up joining Mei on her longest trip to train with Red Son yet. A full week spending time with friends and no responsibilities. A well earned break.
And Mk isn't the only one who needs it.

“You relentlessly pester me to have a week of training, then bring him along unannounced?” Red Son shakes Mk for emphasis, and Mk is undeterred from trying for that hug.
“I announced him!” Mei gets out her phone. “I can pull it up!”
“PUPPY VIDEOS DON'T—” Red Son bursts into flames, launching Mk away. He takes a deep breath. “Which video was I supposed to interpret as you telling me you were bringing Noodle Boy?”

This time, MK’s screaming had been loud and prolonged enough to wake Mei and Red Son, who rushed to come to his side, even half-asleep as they were.
“Noodle Boy? What's going on, what was that just now?”
Mei gasped. “The enclosure! Where's Burpy?!”
“Um, well, y'see...” MK let out a defeated sigh and pointed to the forest, where the flame sprite had fled. “That was it, just now.”MK, Mei and Red Son are having a sleepover at Red Son's training temple. But their fun is thrown into chaos when MK's corrupted staff transforms the flame sprite, and the creature takes its chance at freedom.

El Fuego de Samadhi, una llama interdimensional inextinguible, fue sellado cuando su creador, Red Son, aún era muy joven, incapaz de controlar su propio poder. El Rey Mono y el resto de Peregrinos, junto con el Rey Toro Demonio y el Tercer Príncipe Lotus Nezha, consiguieron sellarlo en tres anillos que serían conocidos como los tres Anillos de Samadhi.
Sin embargo, el Rey Mono se resbaló, un error momentáneo pero crucial, y el sellado salió mal.
Por suerte, ese fallo no influenció en la parte importante del resultado final. Ese interminable fuego no podría volver a surgir a menos que se usara el ritual con los tres anillos en el mismo sitio en el que fue sellado.
No obstante, una cosa a entender de las viejas leyendas es que la historia no se acaba nunca. Pueden acabarse las páginas, pero el viaje siempre continúa.

Mk slowly handed her the ring, holding it out in front of her with a still stance although his hands seemed a bit shaky. She looked up at him for a moment before her gaze set endlessly on the ring, her hands propped up by her chest as if she was scared to grab it.
But she did. She reached out and wrapped her hands around the rim. It was warmer than before, almost… hot. Really hot. Mei let out an exhale with a slight seethe in as her grip tightened on reflex due to the heat of it, how he managed to hold it so easily is beyond her, even with her own fire powers it was still hot. She held it in front of her, her eyes darkening… no wonder she felt so attached to it in the past, it was a Samadhi ring, containing the rest of what was inside her. But why was her connection dwindling then? Why did she feel so okay with giving it up, why did she feel so uneasy holding it. Her thoughts began to scramble again, no coherent thought being able to make it’s way into the front of her head… was Mk talking? The ringing in her ears made it almost impossible to hear him but there was definitely words coming out of his mouth.
