What happened to all their good times? They laughed and ate at Grillby’s, made friends and broke the barrier. So why? Why did they RESET? They seemed so happy to be back on the surface.
To keep count of how many times he had watched this same thing happen, watched as Papyrus tried his best to befriend them, watched as Frisk silently slaughtered every helpless monster they came across, it would drive him insane to know just how many times he’s seen this. He can remember -this one time- when Frisk scribbled something about their ‘older sibling’ in the snow. But that was long ago. Frisk has since then givin’ up on this ‘sibling’. Now, They kill just for the hell of it.
That was, until the blue jacket wearing skeleton came face to face with this sacred ‘older sibling’.

Summary
How many times has Kris experienced Chapter 1 and Chapter 2? How many times have they risked their life, fought those same people, over and over and over? It had to stop. Eventually, there was a breaking point. Something changed, and suddenly, there was opportunity. There was rage, mania, confusion, horribleness. Kris had become something else. Something unlike anything there ever was.
In this opportunity, Kris has separated from Susie, and after making her do horrible things not even an hour ago, Kris syncs up back with Noelle. Together, they do everything together, that night. Traveling on adventures consolidated solely within Castle Town, and Hometown.
Something strange has happened because of all this, however. After defeating just about everyone that stood in their way, Kris and Noelle emerge from the Dark World, to find that a new Dark Fountain has formed at Kris' house, despite never opening one there. Together, the two of them aim to find the creator of the new Dark Fountain, and perhaps indulge in what little this world has left to offer them.
There just seems to be one problem with that. There's one person left who still poses a threat.
