Iorveth está obsesionado con derrotar a Vernon, pero tener que colaborar le hará replantearse sus propios deseos, como así hará Vernon al conocer más a su enemigo y cómo su vida no debería consistir en ocultar y reprimir su naturaleza el resto de su existencia.
Una re-imaginación de la trama del Witcher 2 en un escenario A/B/O contando toda la historia bajo esa premisa y cambiando los acontecimientos juntando los dos caminos de Vernon e Iorveth en uno solo.

There's something about Jaskier that Geralt can't place. It isn't the bard’s boldness in waltzing up to him, or how he seems strangely unswayed by the witcher's cold front, or even the way he glues himself to Geralt’s side.

If you had told Geralt a year ago that he would soon find his soul mate, he would have smiled slightly and declared you insane. He would also have emphasized that there was no such thing for Witcher. They were killing machines, themselves beasts fighting others, only they looked human - but they weren't. Not to mention they took money for their services.
In short, all things considered.
There were no soul mates for Witchers. How wrong he was…Or in Jaskier's words.
He knew that his soul mate was waiting for him out there, young, quite naive but adventurous, so he went out to find him. Especially since his father had told him he was a witcher, Jaskier at least had a limitation to work with. So it was only a matter of time before he found him, good thing he had plenty of time.
