Jervis Tetch, The mad Hatter. That was all that Gotham knew him by, they didn't know the small clock shop owner who only wanted to support his three sisters, being roped into some drug trade and taken to Arkham on the account that he had mild depression and some form of not found bi-polar. Until he was taken to under Arkham and tortured to become the rhyming mad man by the name of hatter.
(This is kinda a back story at the beginning but then goes more towards Jervis's daily life. Thank you for your understanding.)

What if Amanda Waller was caught doing the most deranged and cruellest acts on the main members of the Legion of Doom whilst in Belle Reve?
When trying to get the Legion to cooperate and submit to her command with her experiments that created a corrupted system in the Penitentiary, her secret slipped out leading her to face serious consequences along with the federal government taking the Legion and getting them either back to their hometown or simply going back to whence they operated from.
When members of the Justice League start to hear about the incident from other foes or friends, trying to convince them to talk about what happened, they realised that something in that prison has changed them drastically, leading to unhealthy coping mechanisms, isolation from society and potentially, suicidal behavior.
Can these heroes help their arch-nemesis get through their tough times?

"Join me, child." Jonathan prompted, pressing a kiss to Edward's ear, leaving a bloody mark behind. Edward shivered and leaned towards the body, tracing his fingers over her delicate body, her ribs and stomach now exposed. Hunger rose in his stomach, and he too began to join Jonathan in their feast.
