After inheriting the farm and a long time of settling in and uncertainly, you married Shane. His rough demeanour and coarse words didn't frighten you away, and eventually, he stopped trying to put you off. Now the only firmness he has for you is between the sheets.
Or... you married Elliott. You made the reclusive writer your friend, and he made you his muse. He wrote a book for you, and you made a home for him. Now your days are spent sharing words of praise, lust and love.
Or... you married Harvey. At your initial check-up, he felt your pulse, and you saw his kind heart. If you were going to encourage him to soar, and he was going to keep you safe and sound, then why not just fall into each other?
Farm life is a challenge, and sometimes you lose track of time... but you'll never lose sight of why you fell in love. And he's always waiting at home for you.

Shane presses a moist kiss to your skin, nose whistling subtly with each of his breaths, he nuzzles, his broad arch bumping into you. So tired, so sleepy, your own breathing slowing down, down, down..
"Shhh.. shh sh... s'okay, Doll.." His soft voice drawls, a sweet-soft coddle, hands wandering over sensitive parts, fingers threatening to dip and press. "Jus' relax.."

You flagged Gus down for two more drinks, having to make up for stealing Shane's. Shane looked at you but didn't push you for an answer. That's one of the things that you liked about him.
Gus placed the drinks in front of you, and you offered him a thanks as he walked away to clean. Shane didn't move to let go of your hand, instead he grabbed it with the other. He brought the glass up to his lips, you felt a little bad for staring. Quickly, you looked back to the drink in front of you.
After taking a quick sip, you asked, "do you think Harvey is in love with me?"

Shane couldn't help but feel a little guilty like he was another project for you to take care of. He didn’t want to be someone’s charity case and didn’t want to be fixed because he felt too broken to be worth the effort. But there was something about you that made it hard to resist. Maybe it was the genuine concern in your eyes or the way you never gave up on him, even when he pushed you away.
Maybe that's why he would drag himself into bed after a long day, his mind drowning in worries, fears, alcohol, and guilt. His thoughts would seek out the comfort of you—your smile, your laughter.
After work tonight, Shane made his way to the Saloon, seeking solace at the bottom of a glass, as usual. He hoped the alcohol would drown his persistent thoughts of you, allowing him to escape his troubles for a while.

After running away from home in Zuzu city, the reader makes it to Stardew Valley to live in her late grandfathers house. Upon arriving, she is informed that until the broken house can be fixed, she'll have to live with her neighbors. This is when she meets Shane, the town drunk and alcoholic. Becoming close over time, but not knowing of Shane's predatory behaviors, the reader allows herself to be groomed. Even after recognizing the situation at hand and receiving many warnings from those around her, the reader seeks out Shane's love and affection, letting him remedy her fatherly issues. The reader battles through her family drama and farming struggles while at the same time, running to Shane for comfort and stability, thus, falling deeper into his grasp.
