There's no doubt Matt Murdock and Frank Castle are violent men. It’s clear in their vigilantism but also their need to fight. With how long they have been vigilantes, it's only natural that it gets a bit too easy sometimes when crime rates drop. It's how they found themselves sparring after patrols to get rid of some of the excess energy, otherwise Matt goes home vibrating with the need to punch something and Franks trigger finger itches to be used.
